Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Prediction League scores heading for an all time low unless one or more of tomorrows games go to form. I wonder how long it is since both Manchester teams lost on the same day.

Coupons bursters galore......, Manure, Citeh, The Sevco ....., that treble would've gave a years wage for a 10 quid bet!

Just a single point for me so far, courtesy of the budgies!
The MOTD doesn't look likely to go my way either now, what with Liverpool down to 9 men with less than 15 minutes to go!

Checked my H2H opponent, Wolfie. He has 6 shots on target.AzzurroMark wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 7:12 pmJust a single point for me so far, courtesy of the budgies!

We’ve both predicted 1-1 for Che v Ful…… need the other two to be favourable to Team M69 or its the first defeat of the season!
(Tongue in cheek btw……. Not really taking it this seriously)
Edit: Yes i am …… SCREW TEAM GNB!!!

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
An Aberdeen win at Ibrox comes along as often as Halley's Comet particularly with a two goal margin but what a score that was, even non fans of Scots "football" should sit up and take notice, it were immense. Can't even recall such an instance such is it's rarity.
You got to go back to names in the team like Willie Miller, McLeish, Jim Bett and Snelders in goal to imagine something like that, the odds of such a thing from the game in question would have been astronomical. Too bad they couldn't have put the same effort into a bunch of part-timers from Scandinavia or else they'd still be in proper European Competition.
On the other side of Glasgow the more illustrious team left it late to beat Motherwell with winner well into additional time. Games or events such as this almost make it all worthwhile. Nothing to say on EPL matters, at least anything printable or suitable for any family audience.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Maybe I’m slow in seeing this, but I just noticed that Cheltenham, bottom of League 1, have played 10 matches this season, drawn 1 and lost 9. And in those 10 games they still haven’t scored a goal yet this season. That must be close to a record I guess.
Just seen that is a record from the start of a season without scoring.
Most consecutive games without scoring: 11, Coventry City (Second Division, 1919–20) and Hartlepool United (Third Division, 1992–93)
Most consecutive games from start of season without scoring: 10, Cheltenham Town (League Two, 2023–24)

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Well played Wolfie

….. you predicted the 1-1. Not even 90 +13 could get a winner for either of them.
You’ll win 10-0 or 15-5 depending on the Chelsea result.
for the 1-1.

Thank You, it didn't come cheap that decision in the 56th minute,
Wonder what ol Klippity Klopp did to upset the VAR Capone family v Spurs this week , usually all decisions go to LiVARpool. perhaps there cash bounced,

Yet another VAR mega f*ck up, quite how anyone can support this crap system is completely beyond me, it's a total farce and a joke.

The thing is, it's not the technology that's getting it wrong...it's still human error. As much as I hate the VAR f*ck ups, it still comes down to referees or officials making the final decision. At least with VAR, you can see what the decision is based upon whether you agree with it or not. Before VAR, you'd just be scratching your head thinking either the Ref needs glasses or he's being paid under the table.

Even the days of sitting in the pub with your mates discussing the utter fuckfest that is Clive Thomas is now taken away from us too, instead we get to debate technology with some fuckwit hiding behind a screen, great.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Sadly Colchester United look in serious danger of dropping out of the EFL unless they get their act together very quickly. This would be their second drop to the Conference since joining the EFL in 1950. Last time it was a short visit for just two seasons in 1990/91 and 1991/92. Let’s hope it can be avoided but it’s not looking good.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
one or two exhibition games of notice later today, pick of bunch being Scots visit to France and an-all antipodean clash with Australia and NZ. These could be rugby encounters of relish in all truth but would expect both home nations to record some level of victory.
Gallic police authorities are expected to raise awareness for the former after some nationals from Sweden were killed yesterday in neighboring Belgium in a suspected terrorism incident but the game in question should pass off without incident.
