Coventry are so quick on the break, not looking forward to playing this lot.

That would be a problem for another day, Charny - lets just hope they can hang on today first as it would savour blushes. We don't need to win every game, we just need to match Leeds, thats all!

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
If Leeds and Leicester stay “as is” Town stay top of the league tonight, how bizarre would that be.
Record crowd at Coventry and a fabulous atmosphere. The ash the game is going Cov will do this.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
According to commentary this is Coventry’s best performance of the season. Could this possibly be the end of Leeds 15 match unbeaten run.

Cov gonna get battered now especially if they sit back and try to defend this.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Cov v Leeds could well be the game of the season, so pleased I watched the second half, it’s really cheered me up.
Just a bit worried we still have them to play them. On today’s two performances they’d absolutely murder us.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
With any luck they will have played 120+ minutes and taken penalties to get past Man U. Then none of them will want to risk injury ahead of a final

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
some irony they played Leeds back in '87 and won at the semi-final stage against them en-route to the final so maybe carries some fortunate omen for their MUFC fixture coming up real soon, they beat the latter also to win it outright just for good measure but can never read too much into things.
In present time they appear most robust of the top three between us and LCFC so maybe surprised they suffered defeat. Dismayed to learn the other got late victory with Birmingham but no-one said it was going to be easy getting up through this league. Southampton auto promotion hopes would appear to be over, even with games outstanding their chance of now making it appear betwen slim and zero.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Mr Joe Kinnear passed away a few hours back, that's a shame to learn. Coach of Wimbledon for a time, tail end of the Crazy Gang era but not a name everyone can instantly recognize. 77 years of age and battled the awful dementia condition for some years.
News item reveals he passed on quietly earlier today surrounded by family. It's a shame, condolences to those involved.

Got to be honest, I thought Joe Kinnear died YEARS ago after a big heart attack.arana peligrosa wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 8:12 pmMr Joe Kinnear passed away a few hours back, that's a shame to learn. Real Madrid/ManShitty match:
I’ve been critical of female commentators, but I think Sue Smith is doing a great job. There’s another female commentator who drives me crazy with her excitement…she’s rubbish, don’t know her name.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Looks like Osmajic done an "Ivan Sproule" for Preston NE tonight......., subbed on in the 76th min then scores a hat-trick.
Anyone guess the Preston headline tomorrow......, Magic?
