NON IPSWICH MATCHES

Thought I’d make a thread for games other than Towns.

I watched a bit of Sheffield Weds vs Southampton last night, weds didn’t look that good - Southampton were ok - certainly had more quality on the ball etc.

Would have been a v good point for the Owls if they had held on.

Side note - is there any highlights from the championship games later today?

Bit of an insomniac so a middle of the night game kinda works sometimes.

Which game should I watch to send me to sleep?

Has to be the Scum, enough to send an insomniac to sleep any day of the week

Looked like they were playing for a draw from the start, switched over to Plymouth just in time for their 1st goal.

I honestly think even at this early stage QPR are doomed, 4-0 down before HT and by all accounts awful. Think I was right to put them bottom

Struggling to beat Hull at home is a bit hopeful though.

Scum winner was Offside apparently...Resenoir sent off for his protest... referee...Mr Keith Stroud.

Suspect the fire weather conditions played a part in that goal not being ruled offside ….

Same ole jammy scum it seems!

Game was called off while still in progress. Excessive water on the field / play unable to continue. Must have been a short burst of real adverse weather or something.

Town Wanderers won the 'East Anglian Cup' in the 1990's by all account, although what caliber of opposition they beat en-route to take the prize isn't exactly clear. Guessing got past by way of Aldeburgh, Kessingland and Nacton reserves etc. No recognized club names would seem not to have take part.

I see the Colchester home game was rained off too.

Summer in the East Anglian sunbelt.

Summer in this country is always a joke, you get a few nice days in June and everyone is raving about it when in truth it's bollocks

I was travelling home from London on Friday and I’ve NEVER seen rain like it. At one point the car was completely deluged in a dump of standing water which came over the central reservation barrier from the opposite carriage way. We couldn’t see a thing and thank god we were only doing 40mph at that point.

Wasn't impressed with Simms, bloody glad we didn't spunk 7 million on that. Leicester look good going forward but iffy at the back.
