Daggy refers to a sheep that has lumps of poo stuck to its wool around its rear end, they dry and get very hard, so in slang it refers to somebody that dresses shabbily or is dirty, hence the expression ‘ he looks daggy’ or if something is not very nice ‘ thats daggy’

It was the article writer giving the Sydneysiders a background on Town, not a Massimo comment.
Daggy is Aus/NZ for a bit sh*t. Accurate I thought.
