Wes seeing specialist today, shoulder injury, disappointed. Will learn more about how long it's going to be.
Might be a surgical repair, in which case months, but they're hopeful it won't be in which case weeks.

Played behind closed doors in-house game last week, Walton and Tuanzebe both involved as well as U21s.
Tuanzebe played 60 mins. Not involved this week but will in next couple of weeks.

Freddie, slight achilles problem, seeing specialist, not involved Friday.

Elkan, slight back issue which saw him miss the second Indonesia game but not expected to be a problem.

But look on the bright side......., at least Wes was being part of the "Take Gibraltar Serious" campaign.

Am a bit fuzzy on occasion for midfield areas of the team but wouldn't we have enough cover in that area of the field to not overly concern at least in the time he's on any inactive roster. You'd pick out Morsy, Humphreys and Luongo for instance to provide adequate cover or keep that particular area efficient. Suppose I'd include Hutchinson and Ball also and Chaplin of course but he's essentially a forward now played out of his rightful position since adapting so well and playing like he has.

What you can be sure of he's a pivotal player of the squad that contributes often and adds goals to it. It's not a critical omission and we got so many other names in and around him that can make a difference. All teams take knocks, they got players out through injury but are required to keep at it.

It's a shame for Burns and one or two others that are out at interim but once again the depth in squad we now possess provides the team a good chance as always and the ability to continue and challenge.

Can’t believe it’s taken a week to see a specialist and have that MRI scan.

Not got a lot of hope re his injury either. He fell onto it ( all his body weight) from a height of 4-5 feet. Not good. But I’ll keep my fingers crossed .

I believe sometimes you can’t scan straight away if there is swelling etc. I doubt players at this level are lacking good medical care.

Will be a blow but Omari is already pushing hard for starts.
