It's a shame we don't have no users from OTIB come on and state opinion, I know they've been known to frequent TWTD on occasion. Would have been interesting to see a rival viewpoint on this game thread.

Bottom line here we won and the gap between ourselves and third position appears now something substantial. Believe we got a game in hand over immediate challengers below and the game just played showed again the team can procure results and victories even when not playing at or near their absolute best.

3,000 traveled from one side of the country to the other, this would never have happened under Marcus Evans and a whole list of inept managers you could reel off only a few seasons back. Maybe we were fortunate in victory, perhaps they could have taken a point from it, the game itself may have been lacklustre and devoid at times of vitality but you can only underline once again we're able to hit home a victory even when not playing at full efficiency.

May have mentioned it elsewhere but ask again maybe if Mark Ashton made the trip over. Wouldn't blame him for sitting that one out, the fans there can't abide his as* and wouldn't be surprised if did a right thing and kept a distance. All told we're progressing at a real steady rate now. I won't entertain no talk of the EPL next season, we're good and hitting the right notes and then some, but just prepared to take each game as we find it right now.

You wont entertain “no talk” of the EPL, Saint?
In that case, you need to go start an “EPL Talk” thread. 👍👌

I might be alone in my thoughts, but I feel sorry for him. He's had a lot of key players missing for some time. He knew what was coming even though some of Bristol City's more recent poor results had come at the hands of teams like us, Leicester and Leeds!
