Sensible line up for me. Broadhead appears to have travelled with the team but was sent home ill, let’s hope whatever it is doesn’t spread further, Harness definitely deserves his opportunity. Tuanzebe is an interesting choice and I guess it was only a matter of time before he was given a starting X1 opportunity. I just hope he settles quickly.
Jackson never lets us down but personally I’d put Hutchinson in ahead of him just for his pace and unpredictability although his first half at Birmingham was very quiet. I’m sure we’ll see him introduced at some stage through the game.

He certainly wasn’t faultless but didn’t Burgess get wrong side of his man first. We’re also giving possession away far more than we should be doing. Just a bit untidy at the moment.

30 seconds before I was thinking Morsy has so much space and didn't he take it well.

Can’t watch as Sky don’t broadcast here. But I guess the defence was picked for an aerial bombardment assuming Rotherham haven’t changed their “style”
Just seen that Morsy’s goal makes him the 17th different goal scorer for us this season. That is an impressive statistic

That’s two definite penalties the referee has completely missed.

I don’t think tonight will be the last time we see Tusnzebe in the starting line up. I think he looks very comfortable in the team and good going forward too.

Re: Championship - Rotherham United vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
I thought we once again were caught out by the early high numbers press by Rotherham. Once they ran out of steam on 20 mins we started to settle into our own game.
I don’t think the link up play between midfield and the front men is there atm. Hurst is constantly being fouled and not getting anything . We should have had two penalties in that half , and as I text Mike , it’s weird, you give Jackson and Harness a start and they look ineffective.
Obviously a different defensive partnership which is feeling its way . I think Axel after a ponderous start is looking like he’s relaxing into his own game now.
I’m hoping Omari will unlock this lot in the latter parts of the second half. And maybe Freddie can impose himself when he comes on too.
Note about Morsy’s goal . Brilliant skill to hit a moving ball on the ground like that . He literally stroked that into the corner of the net.

Re: Championship - Rotherham United vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Well I'll take that at HT as we've been five out of ten at best, apart from our excellent goal we've not troubled their keeper at all. A couple of times they've looked dangerous when crossing into our box.
Tuanzebe has done very well, their goal apart, when Davis and Burgess could both have done better too. Harness has had a couple of decent moments but not a lot, same with Jackson while Hirst done very little apart from some good runs, should have won a penalty though. Clarke really should have hit the target with the free header from the corner.
I think this could be a good game to have Hutchinson on for half hour as his pace and trickery will create chances.
