We also seem to be giving the ball away a lot more than we did on Wednesday.

It worries me that they have so much possession running at us and any shot in the rain can slip through... 🤞

What a chance for Sarmiento ☹️ We could have done with that in the back of the net.

This constant attempt to sink the ball over the top , all the time, isn’t working and it losing us possession of the ball… keep the ball !!!

We’re making bloody hard work of this. At this rate Liz’s draw prediction isn’t far off the mark.

Sometimes you just have to grind results out especially on a soggy winter pitch. This could just be one of those days

Strange to see us with so little possession and passes completed. Change of defensive tack, or just a bit the 2nd best team?!!

Sounded like hard work but they got the 3 points, onwards and upwards!

Well, perhaps not if we've won? Sounds like really poor conditions out there!
Three points, we move on to the next game!

Last 3 mins we did start to manage the ball better.

Well played Town. I think the team looked very leg weary today and the Weds game plus travel took its toll I think.

Some good points from us and Jess good but the main thing is it’s 3 points. Well done Town

Such a gutsy performance and massive result, as Darren Ambrose said you can't always be on your game and days like this shape your season, Burgess immense today. Two winnable home games now and the March is back on.

Spot on, A win is a win. Shown we can grind it out again. Well done Town, now two games at home to come

Only Liverpool and Man City have lost fewer games than Town so far this season and they’ve played 7 and 9 games each less. That’s some record, just a shame we’ve had so many draws (9).

I’d say Swansea are actually a very good side who are capable of playing a very similar style to ourselves. But like us they get caught out at the back. But I think they’ll be right up there next season ( wherever We are).. had we been more clinical with our shots (a lot of them resembled a pass back to their keeper as they had no power) we’d have probably put 3 or 4 past them today.

But well played Town

Very true. Burgess superb. Not easy to play good football in conditions like that; two well taken goals.

We got the win and three points with it. May have been nervous last minutes and hanging on but game's over and we take a win from the trip there, it's all anyone could ask. Seems possession and chances were about equal and we were made to battle for the victory but kind of relief to do it. Need to ascertain further information to provide further analysis but right off the bat, we did it and keep hold on the top most reaches of the league.

Too bad Leeds got themselves a victory, Leicester lose but believe they're too far ahead / suffer too few losses to really concern themselves about missing out on an auto promoton chance. Millwall got something of a struggle to retain second league status this season.

Well as has just been said on Suffolk radio if we don’t win these next two home games, then these last two away victories will be meaningless unfortunately.

I think we’ll see a change in midfield Tuesday night … tired legs and all that
