Just noted there's no mention of Ladapo in there?

El Mizouni hasn't gone then, bit odd, as is the situation with Donacien, I don't see a place for him here.

I thought I saw somewhere El Miz had been given a free… so that’s released isn’t it? Oh just seen from your link thst option has been taken up by Town. I can only assume that’s to get a fee in as also with Walton ( can’t see him staying ). I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hldaky become the number 2 and we bring in another GK,

Maybe we’re looking to sell him?

Think we might be hoping that we get a small fee for El Miz. Still think if Hadlacki signs a new contract then Walton will be on the way as well. Good luck to all of them leaving, especially KJ, as although he was a scapegoat for some of our supporters you could never fault is effort and and his conduct on and off the pitch was exemplary.

Tbh we’ve not released that many have we. Which suggests we might still try and sell one or two, and/ or we’re not bringing that many new players in this window . Minimal disruption, again.

I’ve just asked the question on twtd and someone suggested he’s still under contract.
But we’d try and sell him surely?

Couldn't agree more regarding Kayden Jackson, personally I never had a problem with him, limited yes but always gave his all and no surprise that under a proper manager he looked useful, unlike the last Three tossers he had to endure.

Shame Jackson won’t get to play in the Prem. Hope he finds success elsewhere.
Still lots of rumours about Davis moving on. How do we feel about that? Personally, I hope we can keep him one more season.

No suprises here, but does underline the point we are 8-10 bodies down from last season.
We probably don't quiet need as big of a squad but you'd imagine 7+ signings will arrive over the summer.

If we needed to raise funds then yes selling Davis would be an option but thankfully we don't, I have read we could be looking at Ryan Sessingnon to play wide left ahead of Davis, all rumours of course.

I can't see anything about Ndaba and Ahadme who both did OK I expect we will sell both.

Also Baggott and I think our captain's contract runs out this month but surely that's sorted.

Corrie Ndaba is League One. At best.

Guys players who are not out of contract won’t be mentioned. The retained list of purely for those who have expiring contracts this summer.
Extremely slim chance we’d sell Davis, no reason to unless someone bid insane money.

West Ham and Villa have shown interest, not sure what their financial situation is

Think you find Town getting promoted to the Championship last year executed a two year extension clause in his contract. So think you find his contract does not run out until this time next year, though wouldn't be surprised if our captain is offered another year on top

Villa have to sell ideally if they want to sign any players for good money, they are treading fairly close with the financial rules.
Not sure on West Ham’s finances, could see them moving for Davis if we hadn’t gone up but surely with ZERO need to sell we’d just slap a ridiculous fee on him, 40m plus etc.

I’d have Tyrone Mings back here if they were selling….

Same but at 31 you wouldn't want to pay a big fee, and he is on approx 100k a week until summer 2026.

Biggest problem with Tyrone Mings is unfortunately he is injury pronged. Not sure if the risk of signing him especially if on high wage and big fee

I'm of the opinion that the second promotion will see the end of Baggott and Humphreys here tbh. Ndaba just doesn't cut it at any level for me.

Unless Baggott can force his way into the pre season squad I'd agree. Ad for the rest, yip I'd say that's them done. We can't " carry" players in a squad of 25 in the PL, if we are looking to bring better players in.

Nicky Hayes, hell did he ever start a game here. Couldn't even label a utility player. Jackson is no great loss, could never now push beyond the more prominent forward players we got available.
Aluko retired, don't know how old the boy is but kind of surprised to read that. Hutchinson, Moore, Sarmiento all useful players that are an integral part of what we possess and hopefully able to retain longer but if we have to give them back then what can you do.
Walton seems to be leaving if read right. That's a shame but just can't seem to get back past Vaclav for main goal duties. El Miz and Burgess, depends how you view them. They're not the most pivotal part of the team but can contribute and weigh in when necessary. Is Baggott in there someplace, being quick just disappeared off radar after a poor showing and never really showed the potential the kid may or may not have possessed.

The Kayden Jackson interview on Town TV is very good, not my favourite player but a very good person and I wish him well.

Was just thinking, how much of a role will Al Hamadi have? He’s never played in the Premier League, right?

A big step up he will maybe go out on loan or get a few cup games if not.

We're supposed to bring in new striking names before August in readiness for the new season but whether we do, how many come on board and who they may be remains open to question.
People said when we were promoted from League One there was slim to no chance in another promotion but we proved them incorrect. Some would argue the squad we possess right now is maybe good enough or wouldn't shame themselves or the club name in the EPL but until we're some way into it it's just not possible to really answer. Al Hamadi came on strong towards end of season and scored a few and while it's a whole different caliber of opponent in the topmost league we got names available that can either partner or start without for at least the first few months and really make an impact.
I think being away for 22 years can work to our advantage. (Most) Teams already there won't be familiar with us and won't know quite how to approach us or what to expect. We caught many out in 2001 and finished fifth position as a new addition and while that's unlikely this time around, the opportunity will be there to upset a few and make impact throughout the season.
