Wish the home kit didn't have pinstripes. I really like the away kit. Anyone know what colour the shorts are for the away kit? I can't find pics shorts and socks.
Yeah I'm not up for the pinstripes at all. Are we Sheffield Wednesday or something?

As for the shorts I believe they're going for the retro '70s look, cut slightly above bollock height.

Nothing like a kick in the balls for red haters ——->>> the centre of the umbro logo…… red?! 🤦‍♂️
The red is part of Unbro's i00 year anniversary

I actually like them both. I'm with Mike here. They are both being very well received apart from as Mike says here

Best part I really like is the Premier league logo on the right arm.. Now that's "Word"

80/81 UEFA Cup holders with the pinstripe 👍
Got to have some sentiment with the style.

The home top on 2nd look……, wouldn't ever buy but its ok……. That away top though. Got to be one of the worst in ITFC history. Feckin shocker.

Shamefully forgotten all that Marko, spent the best part of that season in traction at Black Notley, those were the days.

Don’t you remember the green and maroon shocker with Greene King as sponsor on it? I hated that kit!

Just love the new kit both home and away. I’d prefer the badge on the home kit not to have the shield around it but I’m sure I can get used to it. The away shirt reminds me of Barcelona which is good enough for me. I’ll make my mind up over the weekend which one to order.

Ok so it could be worse, look at how bad the reveal video is for the new Norwich kit!

https://www.facebook.com/watch/?extid=r ... 2024164518

Has a look and feel that the video was produced by primary school students or something.

TBF the kit itself is fine and an improvement from their last effort, but this video is terrible.

Get the away one Andy. It’s much better than the home one

Yeah, far prefer the away kit, something about the home kit doesn’t do it for me yet.

Still, will no doubt order regardless

One word of warning, apparently they are very small, a family member who is pretty small in build had to swap the small for a medium as too tight, and to me even the medium looks a little tight on him around his belly and he's quite slim.

No, me neither Andy. It's so blooming Sunday League in effort doesn't it. Really disappointing tbh.

Took in a view on TWTD to get clear understanding of what we're putting out next season. Right off the bat the home design is adequate but nothing fancy. Guess some people settle for that, it's what the team does on the field that matters, design and shirt presentation fades to immaterial. Home one looks similar to the Pioneer design of the 1980's what with pin stripe and the white outline outside the team crest is questionable but guess they just wanted to make a statement to other club names of the EPL i.e. 'pay attention we're back at top level, this is who we are etc'

Can't go for the away one, just seems unfamiliar particularly color and something lurid. It's not something fans here seem particularly used to, it's a shame they couldn't go with traditional white or orange but once again if the players do what's required of them guess you can overlook these 'minor' issues. I wouldn't pay no asking price as not entirely satisfactory with either and getting to Portman Road for actual games is few and far between. Already in possession of previous Town design and shirt merchandise, hell it's our club, it's us, there's not always enough reason to reach out and go for the latest item they can bring out.

Serious question....., (not horsing around like usual)....., but is there any way at all that they'd make a specialized ITFC home top without the Ed Sheeran logos on it? I am actually a fan of the pinstripe and would purchase that home top minus the sponsor.

Think i'll email Umbro, and then NOT hold my breath for a reply.

That certainly wouldn't be in love with the state of you.

In fact you may be incarcerated in the castle on the hill.

That would be perfect.

Pinstripes don't suit everyone Marko - even without the logo. I guess it depends on the 'shape of you'?

The "shape of me" prevented the likelihood of ever being a QPR or Morton fan. I even steered clear of the Geelong Cats in the days that I lived there.

Got a reply from "Shona" @ Umbro.

I'll overly summarise and translate her response into something more understandable.

Dear Sir,

Fk off.

Kind regards

Well, I tried, but, no cigar. I was going to make it an official intention and say it was going to be for some kind of raffle for Brain Cancer Research or something like that, but, that still probably wouldn't have made Big Corp move the manufacturing goalposts.
