Real Madrid/Athletico brilliant first half. Two beautiful goals from Rodrigo & Alvarez! Second half should be good!

Not a sufficient lead to take across town for the return fixture. They're in fact a very useful team with an array of talent and there'll be some 65, 70,000 crowd behind them to motivate or encourage what they got to do to turn it around.

Champions League's a misnomer when most teams from across Europe finishing 3rd, 4th etc can join in and hope to win. Believe this season is 30 years since they changed it from the old format. Ajax Amsterdam were the first winners in '95 although may be slightly off course.

Forest go one up and immediately bring on an additional CB to see out the game, it may or may not work but exactly the right game management

We're going have a great time next season in think. It's a much better league, football wise. I dont buy all this best league in the world frap for the PL. They're all diving cheats, vastly overpaid and it's just a circus . They can keep it.

No they need 16 more points to ensure they can't be caught

Too bad they won't be adding no Champions League title to anything by end of season. f**king enjoyed that, overlook the league for one moment, Europe was the biggest prize focus and they messed up and won't go no further. Outstanding.

For good measure you got Norwich taking a two goal lead tonight then losing by 3 - 2 in front of their own fan base. This is great, what a brace of results you got there. Can't stand either, outstanding pair of scores right there. Almost makes it all worthwhile.

Too much hate, Saint! Atletico will now pump Real tonight!

But you are very correct; SheffWeds certainly did spoil a Tuesday night in Norwich!

Yes I watched that last night it was good to see him play well, he will be out of contact but we have an option.

It's just about better than Emmerdale and Corrie 😂 I also watch lots of YouTube while my other half watches old movies and Vera etc.

After enduring another penalty contest from hell, there can only be relief to progress further. Vinicius Junior tried to take out Neptune with one during regular time when there were others on the field that most likely could have hit the target. It's tough to do it the hard way but so long as you get there in the end.

Got to provide a moment of applause for Aston Villa and their two game victory, like it or not that was impressive. First time in the last eight since 1983 or something, think their fans after that time deserved another appearance. They could maybe get past PSG in the next round and go further but no sense in counting chicks before a hatch.

There were some games today involving say Spurs and Glasgow "inferior". The former lost to AZ Alkmaar of all things first game but don't know what occurred in the return. The latter had a big win in Turkey and should have made it safe at Ibrox today but in truth haven't got that information as yet. Guess take a look soon enough although neither are likely to win the thing outright.

Seems Leicester took a big hit yesterday and a score with it that in any other circumstance would have helped us out immensely, but truth is both club names are likely to suffer a relegation. Maybe we'll survive but the other are garbage. How or still Van Nistelrooy is placed as manager there is a mystery.

A great score also in the League Cup Final or whatever it is now, that's two standout losses for the opposition in quick succession where they should have won both. Another reprehensible club name also took successive defeats at Bristol City just recent. Great scores, can't add more without use of profanities.

Ah Yes I omitted a glaring oversight however it's kind of irrelevant in who wins the league or finishes where.

Some 90 or 100 home fans were denied entry because they weren't prepared to be searched by Strathclyde Police Officers for guess weapons or such. The club received a number of complaints due to this level of handling.

Reasons provided for non entry were essentially based on "reasonable suspicion" but given the nature of event, teams involved, sectarian differences etc, perhaps it were a fair measure. Only took the opposition five years to get another victory there but once again its all by now rather academic.

75 mins and Hirst has just come on for his debut. So he's getting longer on the pitch for Scotland than he does for McKenna's team then, lol
