Looks like we're shifting players out..... seeing on twtd forum H Clarke potentially on his way to Sheffield. Not sure which club though, suspect Weds.
Yes I saw that but no link, Time for him to move on and glad JD has got a club I always like him good bloke.

All I know about him is he was a very common duplicate sticker in the Euro 2024 album.
Hope that helps.

With Newcastle LB Matt Targett wanting a loan away for more game time, this would be the ideal time to get him in at LB and push Davis up to left midfield, Matt is a quality LB and would be an ideal Loan in for the rest of the season Fulham, Nott Forest, Brentford are all after him,

I think we do need another LB to push Davis ...honestly not sure why we brought in the player we did as he doesn't look like he's ever going to get a game,so get rid.

I think we are better bringing in players to make the XI stronger, I think Davis works ok in the 343, although I would like to see him tried a left wing but I think in reality that role is more an inside 10 and not sure Davis suits that as he is all about getting wide and having a good delivery

Townsend is fine as he doesn’t cost much in wages and happy to be backup.

TWTD understands Sheffield United have renewed their interest in Blues central defender Luke Woolfenden.

The Blades were previously keen on Woolfenden in January 2020 during manager Chris Wilder’s first spell at Bramall Lane in the Premier League, but with the Blues making it clear he wasn’t for sale.

The 26-year-old, a key man in the back-to-back promotion side, has returned to the Town team for the last three matches having been out of favour for much of the first half of the season following the signing of Dara O’Shea.

However, the Blues added another defender, Ben Godfrey, to their squad on loan from Atalanta earlier in the week with the twice-capped-England international able to play either right-back or right centre-half, much like Axel Tuanzebe, who is closing in on a return from his hamstring injury.

We understand the Championship’s third-placed side are yet to make an approach and it remains to be seen whether the Blues would consider either a permanent or loan offer for the academy product, who is contracted until this summer but with the club having an option for an additional season.

I can think of at least two people on here that would be very upset if Wolfie leaves 🤭🤣
I wonder how much he's worth or should I say what would we get for him ?

Ironic that he could end up back in the Prem and we end up back in the Championship, you couldn't make it up.

I'd be happy with a packet of Rolo's .....( and still feel we'd robbed them blind)

I dont think he'll have enough physicality about his game to inspire the Sheffield Utd fans. It'll be interesting to see how he does.

And no, Im definitely upset at this news

Be surprised if Doak arrives here but he's a winger, we really need a striker to help Delap, I'd love to see 30 million going on a striker first and foremost.

Dont forget the club have a medium and long-term strategy for recruitment , regardless of the here and now situation. If we've made advances for Doak, is as a perceived upgrade on what we have atm (Burns). But of course we will be looking at strikers at the same time, as I'm sure we're looking at midfield upgrades in line the grafusl upgrade of the defence which has / is ongoing. Davis will be another area we will look at I'm sure.

Well, we have a messiah at the club for many. Apparently, Woolfie declared himself MOTM at the Fulham post-match interview.

Messiah or very naughty boy ?

Regarding Doak, he may well view it that he could be signing for a Championship club and for that reason I doubt he'll entertain us.

Do we literally have to shift players first, before we can bring new players in…..or is it a case of as long the books balance b6 the end of the window?

Tbh I don’t really know what these PL rules are re transfers etc, but because we’ve had back to back Promotions, we seem to be at some disadvantage compared to Saints, and Leicester atm.

I’ve also seen on twtd this week that Leicester could still get a points deduction for some wrong doing. God that bloody club are Teflon arent they!
