That's exactly my point Susie. People should start looking at our performances instead of where we are in the league.Bluesusie wrote:After yesterday's poor performance I don't think we will. My heart says will will get there but my head disagrees. Sheffield want to win on Friday. If we play like yesterday there is no way we will beat them.
We just simply aren't good enough to go up and the way they've played all season we don't deserve to go up.

Wait another season or two. That's what I say.
For what , Bowditch bent Westlake and richards to go ???
If that happens we will end up like Preston and just stay in the middle of the table going no where
Is anyteam in this division really good enough to go up and stay up ?? I doubt it so why not go up , get the money and do what West brom are doing now
But i dont think we will go up anyway , not after yesterday

i'm sorry but that makes no sense at all.. we have won 6 of our last 8 games.. losing against the team who will finish 2nd and the team who since they have had a new manager have only lost 2 games in 15...mini-tit wrote:That's exactly my point Susie. Sheff Utd have lost 4 out of their last 6 and their only wins were against Wimbledon and Wallsall..
we also want to win on Friday, and the boys will be as hungry as ever... we have still got more points than the other chasing teams... we are in a better position than the other teams.. so why the heck are they more likely to beat us in the league??
Wigan and West Ham have to play each other... Wigan also have Notts Forest...
There are only two teams who have it completely in their own hands in regards to making it into the play offs and we are one of them.. so enough of this rubbish of we're not going to make it etc etc.. it's just depressing if you ask me..

Well said Aussie!
We can still do it...of course we can, we just need to remain calm and stay focussed.
As long as BFJ doesn't try experimenting with the formation again I think we'll be okay, Sheffield Utd are no great shakes at the moment and I think that the fact theat they need to win will open the game up which will suit us down to the ground.
We always seem to be more suited to playing counter attacking football away from home anyway.
COME ON YOU BLUES!

i am glad you still have the faith mate, you are right, sheff u are fading fast and won't want to lose this one in front of their own fans
just hope colin doesn't put them into overdrive, and makes a mockery of what should be a football match
will be watching it on sky, and hoping you can do it
you will still be in the play offs, that is pretty certain now i think - but the higher you finish the better
