Did anyone go to the concert? I went last night, not actually been to a concert for about 10-15 years but thought he was great. Myles Smith and Tori Kelly were also very good IMO.
It was wonderful to see the stadium used for another purpose. The queuing to get in was a bit of a mess, but on the plus side I parked in the main ground car park - it was never full and even after staying until the end we got straight out in 2 mins and then only a bit of traffic getting out of Ipswich.
Ed was a one man machine up there, mostly just him and a guitar but you can tell he is a seasoned pro. I wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to his music but I really enjoyed the night, excellent production with the big screen behind him etc.
naturally LOADS of town shirts on show too.

I’d rather shove my face into a food blender if i’m honest, Shabba.

I'm still pissing myself laughing over this comment marko. I take it you don't like Ed!

Ed Sheerin the person, lovely guy. Seen him interviewed on many occasions.
The music? Along with stuff like Timberlake, maroon 5 etc etc…… makes me want to put knitting needles in the ears!
Son scotty and his wife love Ed, went to Hampden Park to see him etc…… Always winding me up in the car,…… “Wee bit Tractor Boy Ed, Da?”

Can't fault those that aren't for the kids "music". Probably all about age perspective or even tolerance. Sheeran's brand of offering will appeal to anyone under 12 years of age or the stone deaf but it's not for everyone.
It's real good we're using Portman Road for these things but just shame we can't pull in something more appealing such as Blondie, Gary Numan or say Depeche Mode. Then you got my attention.
