and where is Wilnis, McGreal and Naylor? they may not be our best players but are old heads at Portman Road and have plenty of experience. and who's to say we couldn't buy a new captain for next season? (I'm thinking the return of Matty Holland)

You can't include Naylor in the list, as he's not a first team regular.

Add the obvious I guess - Miller at least - who else? Naylor, though i can't see it at all....

Can't see Naylor at all either to be honest, added both of the two of them for you though.

Well you can't guarantee that Magilton or Chris Bart-Williams will be in the team (I remember a statement from Joe that we would not be able to afford him if we stayed in Div 1). Naylor is a bench player.

On one hand I would like to see Jamma captain as I reckon it would bring out the best in him, but captaincy is something that can't be handed around like a hot potato. Once you pick someone that's pretty much it for the season......

I'll wait untill we know what division we're in first.......

I votd Bart-Williams, even tho he mite not get a new contract and is injured lots, I think he'd make a gr8 captain :D

Jim is out of contract tho. I'd have thought retirement must be on his mind?

Looks like MIller is the favourite by quite a margin tho.....

If Joe was going to change the captain for next season which I highly doubt it as there is no need to then my preference from the list would be Bam Bam or Miller.

Miller has got the pace of a blue arse fly and Bam Bam can pass the ball quite well. I admire Bam Bam for some of his work not just this season but every season since I have started watching Ipswich I have always felt he has been one of the more confident players during a 90 minute match.

:D

Makin (if he gets fit again or a new contract) would also be good captain aswell thinking about it

I think we should make Beckham captain (after we made an audacious swoop for him in the summer!).

At the start of the season,I would of picked either mcgreal, makin or miller as captain.
All 3 have had there fair share of injuries this season.

I don't think magilton will be at portman road next season.

Jermaine wright very rarely gets injured,so I wouldn't be suprised if he is chosen as our new captain
