He has been a great player for us, especially in the latter part of the season. However, I believe he will move on.

Yes, I think we should keep Jim for another year. However, I'm not so sure he should be playing the full 90 min. He should expect to be substituted more frequently. Now is the time to start grooming his replacement from our Youth program, or a transfer which is probably unlikely.

I think Jim should stay for one more season but he won't be able to play a full 90 minutes, I also think someone else should take over as captain!

I think Jim is past his best - even by 1st div standards. I have seen alot quicker and fitter 35 year olds playing than him.

I don't agree with having a player who can only play 60-75mins on the pitch - if he cannot complete the full 90 he shouldn't start. It is time to look forward. Diallo, Santos and now Elliot are not players for the future. Given the choice I would have kept GAARDSOE!!!!

WBA's player of the year and a big reason WHY they were very strong defensively. I don't blame Royle for that decision - I blame Mr Moneyman.

I hate to say it 'Mole', but you probably should blame Royle for that one. According to an article I read, Royle agreed to let Gaardsoe go to Brom so he could secure the services of Santos!

If Jim stays, then he will probably only be a bit part player.

We've seen this season that when we are losing, jim is one of the options to be substituted and bring on some fresher legs.

Now's the time to pick a new captain and start rebuilding for next season.

its funny how all u people critized jim a lot of the season and u couldnt wait to see the back of him but the votes dont reflect that how come then a sudden change????

No not really he should leave and we should start to plan for the future with players that can give a running passing 90mins midfield performance.

Depends how much he gets paid. But I'll say a provisional "one more season".

I think he'd be useful, but his usefulness for the full 90 mins is questionable now, gets tired too quickly and i think if we do keep him, the current trend of substituting him after about 60 / 70 mins is gonna become the norm.

Is he valuable enough to keep as a 60 min per game player? That's the question.

His days of captain are over I think, can't have the captain being subbed off almost every match.
