Week 20 - Results & Tables

Every week there will be a series of fixtures (or questions) for you to predict the results of. This will be a perfect chance for you to show how much you know about football (or how little) and prove that you are the smartest Ipswich fan. The 2018/19 season will feature the Main Competition including a repeat of last years Promotion/Relegation format as well as a new 'Head to Head' Competition. In conjunction with the FA Cup, we will also play for the coveted TB Cup which will commence in January 2019!

Believed for one moment had achieved a top score. Lo and behold was beaten into second place by another participant. In any event that was a round of some merit. In truth would have accepted a zero score if meant both West Ham and Liverpool had suffered losses.

Why on earth would you want to see Liverpool lose to Manchester United when at this moment in time they are probably the most exciting team to watch in the country. Compare them with the chaotic Manchester United and clueless José Mourinho there was only one likely winner.

Don’t forget Jude is an Everton fan. I agree with you Charny, Liverpool are the much better side. I admit, I did enjoy watching ManU under Sir Alex...so far his replacements have been rubbish. I am surprised José hasn’t got them sorted though.

I guess he’s still sulking because they gave him a new contract and then refused to back him in the transfer market to strengthen his defence. But who can blame the Board when they’ve seen him waste so much money on the likes of Paul Pogba (£90m), Fred (£52m) and Alexis Sanchez (undisclosed fee but the highest paid player in his squad) all of whom he’s failed to get the best out of. It would appear we’ve seen the best of Mourinho who’s failed to follow up on his exciting style which he displayed when he first arrived at Stamford Bridge 14 years ago. Only a shadow of the manager he once was and clearly overtaken by the likes of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp who are in a different class.
