Week 35 - Results & Tables

Every week there will be a series of fixtures (or questions) for you to predict the results of. This will be a perfect chance for you to show how much you know about football (or how little) and prove that you are the smartest Ipswich fan. The 2018/19 season will feature the Main Competition including a repeat of last years Promotion/Relegation format as well as a new 'Head to Head' Competition. In conjunction with the FA Cup, we will also play for the coveted TB Cup which will commence in January 2019!

Hi No1,

Sorry mate but I hadn’t seen your late entry as it wasn’t there when I locked the thread at 12 Noon and I had no record of it on my spreadsheet.

You’ve actually put us into a bit quandary as we gave notice in January that with immediate effect no late entries would be accepted, and to date this has been applied strictly with no exceptions.

Here’s Bluemikes post dated 13 Jan....

CAN EVERYONE PLEASE ENSURE THAT FROM NOW ON ALL PREDICTION LEAGUE ENTRIES ARE DONE BY THE STATED DEADLINE, THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL LATE ENTRIES THE LAST FEW WEEKS AND THERE IS LITTLE NEED FOR IT AS THEY ARE UP ALL WEEK LONG SO RATHER THAN LEAVE THEM UNTIL THE LAST DAY PLEASE GET THEM IN IN GOOD TIME, THERE HAS BEEN ONE OR TWO COMPLAINTS RAISED WHICH I HAVE TO AGREE WITH, THE DEADLINE IS THERE FOR A REASON. FROM THIS WEEK ANY ENTRIES POSTED AFTER THE DEADLINE WILL NOT BE INCLUDED.

I’ll sleep on it and discuss with Mike, however my gut tells me to stick to the rules but I know this could be seen as harsh, however it’s far easier to defend sticking to the rules than it is to defend breaking them, especially when the fixtures have been available all week.

Hope you can understand our dilemma.

Andy

Ooh that's more like it. Given me a bit of leeway in my battle to avoid being the 2019 yo-yo team!

Brighton drew with Millwall ? Departed a fitness center (earlier) with five minutes remaining and the home team (on a big screen) were two goals ahead ? Imagined they'd won..

Holding mid-league above other established names, eleven points represents a lousy total however.

If only I was a yo yo team. I can't even get the first yo. Depressing season so far but can still finish in the top 30

Yo, Welly.

I’m having a second Yo of a season. You fancy a second Yo? AylesburyBlue dishes them out free of charge!

I guess it doesn’t matter when your opponent turns up late. 🤭
