Week 42 - Results & Tables

Every week there will be a series of fixtures (or questions) for you to predict the results of. This will be a perfect chance for you to show how much you know about football (or how little) and prove that you are the smartest Ipswich fan. The 2021/22 season will feature the Main Competition including a repeat of last years Promotion/Relegation format and the popular addition of the 'Head to Head' Competition. We will also play for the coveted TB Cup which will commence in January 2022, which is based on the FA Cup!

What a topsy-turvy month, going from joint lowest score one week, to the highest the next! I almost feel a parallel with Ipswich here! A promotion at the best time, not that I could ever see myself topping the Premier League table!
No.9 you look like you are really strengthening your position! That 31 point lead will take some catching in the 5 remaining rounds, though not impossible!

Hmmm yeah I read somewhere that the most common football score is 1-0 so I’ve been predicting a lot of those - it clearly hasn’t worked 😂

And I had a score of 3 one week Mark but we both got promoted 😂 but I thought this was the finish so I'm disappointed you can bet your life I'll get relegated again 😩😂

You’re welcome mate although my missus wasn’t too impressed having spent most of the day in the car driving across the Colorado Desert to Arizona, popping out for a lovely early evening meal with live music….back to the ranch and into bed ….

….. and…. “just a mo, I need to update the Prediction League” !

She wasn’t impressed mate !

I haven’t dare tell her I need to sort out next weeks fixtures ! ☹️

The best way to get there is to take the ferry from Sorrento to Amalfi, jump ship at Positano for lunch, and jump back on a couple of hours later. It would definitely make a great day out.

Far more relaxing than the day I’ve just had hiking on a rock trail in Sedona, Arizona, getting lost and suffering from heat exhaustion. There’s definitely been a few lessons learned today.

Hey 9, as best I recall you had 2 yrs off before starting this job, that’s one huge break. As for me I’m retired and have been for 18 yrs so that’s one big holiday, and Mike having turned 59 just a couple of days back, well, he’s just practicing for retirement.

Yeah I’m just being a pussy. I had 4 weeks vacation at my last job before I got laid off due to the Covid c*ck. I’m fine though whatever. So many people have lost their lives due to the virus. I’m not sure I can say I’m happy I’m still here, but the one memory of solace I have was from a plaque on the wall at the Mariners Arms in Woodbridge. It read, if I can’t have a drink while I’m living, how the hell can I have a drink when I’m dead?

Yea I like that quote 9 👍 and for better or worse I have a drink most days be it beer or wine but never spirits. I’m current trying out the beer in Arizona which is pretty good. As for vacations 4 weeks sounds pretty good for the US as I seem to think 14 days is the basic entitlement here.
