Week 18 - Results & Tables

Every week there will be a series of fixtures (or questions) for you to predict the results of. This will be a perfect chance for you to show how much you know about football (or how little) and prove that you are the smartest Ipswich fan. The 2022/23season will feature the Main Competition including a repeat of last years Promotion/Relegation format and the popular addition of the 'Head to Head' Competition. We will also play for the coveted TB Cup which will commence in January 2022, which is based on the FA Cup!

I don’t know if others find this…

Last year I just looked at the fixtures and plonked down a score based on gut feeling. Did ok.

This year I have looked at form and betting odds. Doing much worse. What’s that about?

I tend to go with gut feeling without studying form, history etc. Maybe that's why I never achieve great things :? !

I’m in your camp Johnny. When I’m busy and chasing my arse and late to bed and up early for golf etc etc I do my predictions impulsively in minutes and have always done well. This season and more so recently I have more time than I know what to do with, hence my predictions include looking at tables, form, scoring records, match odds, injures, you name it I look at it and my predictions are sh*t. So often right at 85 mins but omg his many late goals are there these days. I’ve decided I’m going to throw in an impulsive random set of predictions soon and simply see what happens.

Total impulse for me - gut feel 100%. That win me the H2H last year but can equally mean I end up nowhere...🤷🏻‍♂️ its just for fun anyway!
