Week 27 - Results & Tables

Every week there will be a series of fixtures (or questions) for you to predict the results of. This will be a perfect chance for you to show how much you know about football (or how little) and prove that you are the smartest Ipswich fan. The 2023/24 season will feature the Main Competition including a repeat of last years Promotion/Relegation format and the popular addition of the 'Head to Head' Competition. We will also play for the coveted TB Cup which will commence in January 2024, which is based on the FA Cup!

Should we be really sad and predict the Mark Derby scoreline?

Team M69 15 ..... (The real average)
Team AzzMark 5

Ooooooohhh dear, Mark. Bad week for you there!

Post game interview:
Reporter: "So, Azzurro? Surprise defeat?"
AzzMark: " Weeeeeell, its the Cup. We made 11 changes to the 11 changes we already made, and to be honest, we do not give a monkeys."
Reporter: "Do you think team M69 will go far in this comp?"
AzzMark: "Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha"
Reporter: "Take it thats a clear no then?"
AzzMark: "Aw man, stop it...., you're killing me here!"

You had a big win over me Tony, could be crucial, I think I need to win my last Two to stand any chance of qualifying

I was amazed I got the win Mike having only scored 11 points. I would say it was like a McCarthy performance, boring as sh*t but somehow managed to get the job done.

Brilliant stuff Marko.

Well where do I start?
News from the AzzMark camp is that this is their only slight chance of salvaging something from the shitfest of this season!.
A lowly placing in the main table and the H2H league has served to increase the pressure on the manager! A humiliating low scoring defeat this weekend could bring the double whammy of cup elimination and relegation from the Premier League! Therefore it is expected that AM will go full strength, predicting a convincing 32-7 win........ Sorry just woken up from a great dream , now where were we? Oh yes
Azzurro Mark 11 v Marko69 14.
Rumours are rife that this could be AM's last game in charge, with the Club's board eyeing a sensational move for his 18 year old black cat, who while sleeping for approximately 19.4hours a day couldn't fare much worse!

Aw no……., it really is going to be 32-7 isn’t it ? 🤦‍♂️ But actually, now that you say that, that could potentially be the Ipswich v Maidstone result. Maybe not though; can’t see Hanky having THAT bad a day in goal. 🤔

And err, 19.4 hrs a day asleep ——->> that’s “teenagers” for you! :D

I actually thought I had pipped you at the death because the BBC changed the Leicester on target total to Eight late on Monday evening which would have made my minus five correct and with it five points, sadly the bastards changed it back Tuesday Morning.
