NFL Time!!!

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

Achilles injury probably. Rodgers could be out for the season.

They are saying possibly full season. Why?
I popped my calf an absolute dull one a few years back while playing squash. Without Erin Rodgers’ medical team, was back playing 7 weeks later. 🤷‍♂️ All season? 🤔
Must be a very deep tear.

Edit: Yes, quite a serious left achilles tear. Ouch.
Must admit, I’m not THAT close enough of an NFL fan to say “tough sh*t dude”…….. genuinely feel sorry for the guy. Hopefully he’s back in December sometime and hopefully the Jets are still in with a shout.

2nd edit: Proper confirmed

Back to the same old Loser Leos, 9.

Knew they’d be f**king sh*te. Last week was a fluke. Shouldn’t be losing @ Ford Field to ANYONE if they think they’re the real deal.

Forever Losers

USA comedian & Packers fan Tom Grossi is always funny. Had to go onto last nights podcast (today) and scroll to the end to see his meltdown @ the field goals that sunk the Packers. Scroll way forward to 3hrs 25 ish.

Leos win as per predicted by the masses......

..... but it HAS to be about Mike's Packers this week.

17-0 down to the Saints........, Come back & win 18-17? Jeezo....., that was impressive.

How the hell do New Orleans allow that to happen? They had 2 minutes to drive fwd and try a FG. 🤷‍♂️

Thursday Night football though this week for LIONS @ PACKERS, ........, Micro-Mike for the Lions has been a bit of a boring "LIVE" game-time podcast so I'll be heading to the Tom Grossi podcast for some laughs......, hopefully hear some of his, "OH MY FREAKIN GOD" stuff when the Lions win. The closer the game, the better.

Expected a bigger loss v the Pats, Shed. Was a close one with Erin injured. No prizes for being close, i know.

9’s Cowboys were a bit of a coupon burster though. Expected them to crush the Cardinals.

Still cant believe the Saints couldn’t get close enough for a field goal attempt. Or maybe they did and i missed that. But what a fail with millions of time left, (and a 17-0 lead ffs)

Marko, with Wilson at QB there is only one way the Jets season is going. Unfortunately he has not developed into a starting QB and probably never will. It is a quarterback driven league and therefore putting it bluntly we are fecked. Would love to be proved wrong but don’t think I will be.

Not a Jets fan myself(I root for the Browns) but somewhat feel sorry for them. Have some of the more passionate fans in all of sports, but with the kind of owner and GM they have, really are not built for long term success. Yes Rodgers going out hurt of course, but even with him I personally didn't see the instant SB contender that everyone else saw. Wilson is exactly like Ryan Leaf if anyone remembers him; guy drafted from a non traditional football powerhouse, picked high due to his workouts and college success, but was a total bust in the NFL. Dude is just not NFL caliber and will never be a starter but for some reason they will keep on trotting him out there, makes no sense. Need to go with Boyle, sign Carson Wentz or something or lucky to win any more games this season.

As far as my Browns go, our defense has been incredible so far this season, and glad that Watson finally had a good game. Hope they and him can keep it up Sunday against the Ravens.

I was expecting a hiccup, to be honest...I mean, it's the Cowboys!

Defense was surprisingly poor. I don't blame Dak for the loss, but I do blame him for not being able to captain a comeback. Look at the Saints/Packers game.

Mike, can only urge you watch this 10mins. Comedy gold from Grossi prior to tonight's game. He is the Packer & mocking the sh*t out of the divisional rivals, the Lions, Vikings and Bears. Really is quality stuff. He has Lionel the Lion off to a T. Deluded Lions fans.
“I know it sounds like the same old Lionel. But this season is different!” Hilarious
