thought it was Ted Ball, but he was an Aussie.
I think we could do with our resident golfer Mr Charnwood on the case.
so i'm going for George Knudson. ? think he was Canadian.

I was thinking McNeill but one or two things didn't add up. Until I recognize what sport it relates to, can't provide a definitive answer. Is it Denis Law ? No surprise if incorrect

Re: WHO AM I. QUIZ
Willie Miller only ever featured with Aberdeen if right, although don't know where he was born.
Then it can't be him because the age doesn't match...
f*ck this is it Joe Harper. He was a good player with Aberdeen in the 70s and the age fits in although don't know how many other club sides he featured for. We'll get back to this another time.

Clue;1991 saw folk musician Billy Bragg release a song which many saw as a direct reference to............. The song was called "God's Footballer", from Bragg's album Don't Try This at Home.
after he retired from football his club kept his contract open for another 12 years, one manager even hung his shirt on the peg for over a year thinking he would come back.

Re: WHO AM I. QUIZ
I don't know many ex-players from your club. Doogan and Richards were big for a time but can't provide a definitive answer.
Hell with it I'll shoot for Richards, the prolific center forward of the 1970s. He may have only featured for Wolverhampton in the UK, don't recall any other British league involvement.

Re: WHO AM I. QUIZ
I have cheated and googled it, mainly because it was annoying me. Apologies to all.
The answer is Peter Knowles. CHAMPION NAY, CHAMPION NAY!!
Got to be honest, I've never heard of him.
Not my turn as I googled..... So have another go at it Wolfie.
