A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

I don’t think BB liked me posting without explaining my workings out but had I done that on either occasion he may well have got there first then I’d have been pissed off. Get the name down as quickly as possible that’s my strategy.
Anyway it’s only a bit of fun, just good to have you out of the way for a couple of rounds Tang as you’re in a different league mate.
I think you have logged onto my account and can see what I am typing before I have finished.

I missed the clue completely John, that’s what happens when you try to do this stuff watching the tv.
Anyway I always thought it was Dai Rees our Welsh centre half and Captain who played for Town in the first game I ever went to at Portman Road. He was also in the Town team that played at Old Traford in the 1958 4th Round FA Cup tie which was the last game to be played at Old Trafford before the Munich Air Crash 12 days later. Five of the eight players who died that day were in the line up against Town. The crowd for that match at Old Trafford was at that time the largest crowd any Town side had ever played in front of.
Now there’s some Town football trivia for the young un’s.

found this on wiki.
Douglas Charles ( Dai ) Rees (12 February 1923 – 2000) was a Welsh professional footballer. During his career he made 356 appearances for Ipswich Town in between 1948 and 1959. He was born in Clyne.
interesting facts there Andy, Thank You.
a friend of mine helped carry the coffin of one of those who died, he said it seemed there was nothing inside. Such a said part of history.

If that’s correct (probably is) - that’s awesome working out. A few tenuous clues.
It’s amazing how you’re personal duel with BB has heightened your skills.

It’s called living in Spain Tang and being in the 7th week of a strict lockdown. I’ve left this house twice in that period for the sum total of less than 60 mins

.
At the start of this comp I just used to look at the pics and stab a calculated guess. More recently having seen your more structured approach I’ve tried to follow the same process.

I missed Orb John but to be honest once I’d got Dominic and fa on the end the rest fell into place.
