SOMETHING STRANGE ABOUT ESSEX GIRL
We drove approx 600 miles yesterday, now I have got a mysterious
problem... My right arm is comletely disabled (NO JOKE) and because
of this when i got home i asked her to move the van just 10 yards.
Since then this new 17 seater crew bus is completely disabled.
The RAC man has been here 2 hours and is completely baffled...
Whilst I am in severe pain, there is a funny side to this.
I canot type very well, so perhaps Essexsgirl would care to
elaborate and explain these mysterious goings on

Thankyou darling you are so kind. Letting everybody think it was me that broke the mini bus.
Whilst we were out and about yesterday, well at the Peterborough services when eddie was pulling in the disabled space there was a smell that came from out of the front of the mini bus. Eddie and I thought that Jonno had expelled something after his indian last night. Well he said it weren't him (and actually he was right, opps sorry Jonno) Anyway this awful smell turned up a couple of times more during the day to which Jonno once again got the blame.
After the game and the hew ha with the policeman and Katrina's disabled badge (which I had been arguing with the police man before anybody else turned up) and parking we started off. Eddie had already said his arm was getting worse and he could hardly lift his arm to smoke his ciggy. (perhaps somebody was telling him something) After we dropped off at Bury Eddie got back in the mini bus but could hardly shut the door with his bad arm. I offered to take over the driving but he said he was ok. After everybody was dropped off and we made our way back to his he was having real trouble turning corners and changing gear. We evently arrived at his were he sort of run in to get a drink and take some pain killers. We unloaded the minibus and went in for a lovely cups of coffee and hot chocolate which Jane always kindly makes us.
Eddie asked Jane to make him a tempoary sling out of some tights. Poor old Jane was doing her best but he keep telling she weren't doing it right. Anyway in the end it went right, then eddie realised that the bus was parked in front of car so he asked me to move it and then put it in his drive when our car was out. Well I moved the mini bus no probs, got out our car and then went back to the mini bus to put it in the drive. Well there was nothing, no lights absolutely nothing. Went to tell Eddie and Tony said what had I done. The 2 of them came out followed by Moped and everybody then realised that the electrics had given up.
They then decided to push the bus into the garden but it was too heavy to so Eddie got his 4 track out and was going to tow me backwards past his drive then they would push it onto the drive until it started to roll on its on. Well the tow rope broke off the mini bus and then it broke off his car but after about 3 attempts to put the rope on both vehicles it worked and back I went. Very strange going backwards with no control over what was happening.
They then managed to push the bus into the drive that's was when I thought I hope these bloody brakes work otherwise I would have gone straight into their front door. Yep they did. Phew!!!!
After that we had another drink and the finally left eddie's about 2.45. I was going my normal way home from eddie's when I thought that's a rather a large light for in the country. Went to turn up the road that goes by Stonham Barns. It was closed due to a fire in a barn up the road. **** it I thought so we had to turn round and come out through Coddenham and get on to the A140. Now I have'nt been on the Coddenham Road for ** years so I forgot where all the bends were so it seemed to take ages but finally we made our way on the A140 and then got home to Clacton about 3.45 after dropping Moped off. I think you might say this had been a very interesting day and evening.
Found out this morning from eddie that the RAC man said a certain type of fuse had blown and we couldn't have mended it even if we new where it was. So NO blame could be put on poor old me for this mis- adventure. Looking forward to the next one I don't think. Don't forget my magnets please Mr Clarke.
