We have a dish in Denmark called 'Burning Love' its just mashed potatoes topped with bacon and fried onions. Basic fare I know but top nosh.
Re: Favourite Food?
Sounds delicious, Floors! I had rump-steak and mash in Germany once, and it was smothered with bacon and onions. Lovely! I suppose one of my fav foods in Texas is smoked brisket. Texas BBQ in general is excellent!

What's happened to the miscellaneous index ? This used to be a lively and vibrant area and now it's just fallen away badly or nothing from what I could once recognize.
I don't have a favorite food. In fact have eaten significantly less in recent times. Cut out all the wrong items from before and a more healthy lifestyle. It wasn't all my own doing. Eating less is more (beneficial) you discover.

I love food...and I love cooking. I don't think you have to eat less to be healthy. I think the key is moderation of certain foods, eating healthy food and exercising. Food should improve your life. You shouldn't feel guilty for liking good food.

Re: Favourite Food?
Only drinks most of that day. Coffee, Diet Soda, Orange Juice, (some apple) and then non-caffeine hot products as the day closes down, both in order to try to rest and it's not permitted with the medication I take. No alcohol either, just drinks during the day. All this instead of eating. Appears more like a favorite drinks list, but there's little solid intake now and coffees, sodas and juices are mostly the order of the day now.

Yeah, it's like us not having a Denny's over here. Truly devastating.Number 9 wrote:We don't have Nandos here, but I looked it up. It sounds delicious. The Don wrote:Nandos. No question
Anyone that has me on Facebook will see that I pretty much live in Nando's

Have cut out drastically animal products in recent years. Not quite a vegetarian yet but there's been a big reduction on say fast food products and other things alluded to in previous responses. I don't regret it. In fact, it's done me a favor more than anything else and not looking back.

I try to avoid most processed foods with exception of Chocolate to which I'm addicted to.
My wife so often tells me off for eating chocolate and then for my Birthday this week enrolled me into The Chocolate Tasting Club from Hotel Chocolat. How bizarre is that!

You can't go wrong with a chilli dog! Do they have chilli dogs in England? No, of course they don't! There's plenty of fkin kebab sandwiches and curry dishes though! That's exactly why I couldn't live in England again: No chilli dogs!
