Living in 'The West' I can now say it is a bit wet and windy.
Popped out to gather the kids from school and in the 45 minutes away we have a nice neat pile of ridge tiles lying on our drive and next doors plus sundry fence panels have gone AWOL. Luckily no cars on either at the time.
Lights flickering as well at the moment so who knows where that may end up. Wife just called to say she is stuck half way back from work as the bridges over various river valleys are shut so lord knows what sort of diversion that will be and to top it all off it is bin day tomorrow so rolled up to be greeted by bins and recycling containers all over the road. (I can hear then flying down the road as I type
)
Nothing at all really compared to what is going on down South, but I am wondering what is going to no longer be attached to the house come morning as the wind is forecast to get stronger over the next couple of hours.
The weather has just been stupid for three days now (blizzards Monday and Tuesday) and I wish it would just give it a rest!

Never seen weather like it down here in Devon, i knew as soon as things got bad around the South East the Government would pull their fingers out, but Somerset is under water as is most of Devon and Cornwall and yet the Enviroment minister couldnt even be arsed to visit the effect areas, today its coming down in buckets again, luckily the wind isnt as bad though

Ha Ha I really do feel for you guys, Ohio. Dallas shuts down when we even have a threat of snow! I have read somewhere that scientists have said the planet is actually in a cooling cycle. Hang in there...I'm sure being a cop in the weather makes it even worse.

Thanks number 9. 5 of us 18 got written up for not stopping enough cars last month. Never mind I worked on a case which resulted in 3 RSP arrests. I just dont know. Maybe I will become a truck driver.
