NFL Time!!!

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

Excellent win for the Cowboys, 9. And it was a decent game…… close contest, all square going into the 4th.
Cowboys play well against average teams, but lose against good teams.

Fair enough.

Cowboys SUCK!

As a Lions fan since 1991, waited all this time to say that about OTHER teams.

Minnesota win over San Francisco. f**king hell that must have caught a number of people out. To gain victory over one of the greatest names in the history of the industry is great but one result or score doesn't win you squat. Viking's games have been mixed this season with (I) expected defeats with Kansas and Philly. Green Bay coming up soon and neutrals won't give the team much chance but the 49er's proved that all things are subject to change.

So much more needed and results to come before the showpiece event in Arizona next winter but certain scores alone, they give rise to a certain hope.

You watch this, 9?

LVR, technically the worst team in the NFL at the moment. Yet this so called “awesome” Lions team huffed and puffed to a 26-14 win.
The “SAME OL LIONS” is lurking in the background here. Maybe when they get a couple of key players back it’ll be genuine……. But as of right now, the 49ers or another contender will wipe the floor……. Like the not great Ravens did last week.

But 6-2 at the bye is always good.

No I completely forgot the Texas Rangers were playing, so I watched that instead. There is so much parity in the league, I mean the Broncos beat the Chiefs!

I think it's gonna come down to who is hot for the play offs. The Lions are at least in a good position to make the post season this year...keep the faith.

I'm expecting the Cowboys to get their obligatory as* kicking at the Eagles next week, but who knows! Knowing how the season has been so far, it wouldn't surprise me if the Cowboys win.

Well I have to admit, Dak was brilliant against the NY Giants. I still want to see him show that ability against good teams. I’m looking forward to the Detroit Lions matchup.

Wouldn’t put dough on the Leos v The Salad Cowgals. JUST got past the Chargers with a FG on Sunday. At the end of that game, people online were saying, “Dont understand why people thought this was going to be easy. Was always going to be a slog.”
 Fk off!
Most people thought the lions would win with ease.

Not a popular opinion for a lot of people but (for me) it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realise that the Packers Miss Aaron Rodgers desperately.
Again, for me, an “End of career” quarterback like Aaron is arguably still better than most QB’s out there in the NFL today.
Maybe his physicalities are not the same, but his reading of the game was probably the best ever. Certainly on a par with the great Joe Montana.

He leaves……… Packers have one of their worst seasons. 🤷‍♂️

But……… to counter that argument…….. Lions have Stafford for TWELVE seasons……. And SUCK!
His first season at the RAMS, he wins Superbowl.

No rhyme or reason to this confusing as f*ck American shyte!

Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady both have that natural ability to win, whereas QB's like Prescott or Stafford have to work really, really hard to even come close to those other two. Of course, a lot depends on the quality of the offensive line but having the natural skills to carry a team to victory no matter what happens during the course of the game is reserved for the Bradys and the Rodgers...and I guess we can put Mahomes in that category too.

Think about it, what other QBs in the league have that natural ability?

Same old Lions ——>> 8-3 but they suck. Jared Goff had a disastrous night on Americas Thanksgiving showpiece game. Same Old feckin Lions.

Green Bay Packers always seem to roll into Detroit and just take those Lions apart. Its a historical thing really.

We played really well last night at last, shame season is over though. As for Rodgers, he was all washed up 2 seasons ago in my opinion, we needed a new direction so a season of transition is maybe no bad thing.

Jesus that first half was painful to watch. Your defence gets you back in the game and then you go and call a play like that. Oh the joy of being a Jets fan.
