NFL Time!!!

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

Who is staying up to watch the game?

This is a hard one to pick. On the surface I still think the Chiefs have the advantage, but you never know what you're gonna get when Brady is playing. In a way it seems like it may already be written in history with Brady winning at the first homefield Super Bowl and capping his 7th SB win. On the other hand, it won't surprise anyone at all if Mahomes and the Chiefs repeat as champions. I really don't care who wins, and I just hope it's a competitive game.

I'm glad Rogers at least received the MVP, he really deserves it in my opinion. I hope he returns for another season at least.

F U C K Rodgers!! But that's me speaking if I was a Detroit based fan. I'm not...... So, well done Aaron. Deserved 👍

Brady and the Bucs for me. My best man, Big Marko coming to my house for the game......., got ribs, wings, popcorn, beers....... Up all night and (like every first Monday in Feb) Monday cancelled.

Get the job done, Tom.

Brilliant, well done for staying up! We'll have to start a little banter during the game. It's homemade pizza and hot wings for me! :P

And the goat and gronk are going! Awesome stuff. Too easy.

Getting a little help from the refs with those wee inches offsides, but that's the game.

Must say though, those decisions effects on fans will be way worse than VAR  Brutal. I mean the FG was already taken

You in the UK at the moment, 9? Or heading to bed at 8pm in Dallas? That is early.

FAR too easy for the GOAT.
Breezed past Brees
Rodgered Rodgers
MaHumbled Mahomes

Just way too easy. 7th Superbowl. Outstanding achievement.

Watched bits of it but didn't possess the same enthusiasm as years before. Last main event took a real minute to minute interest in was back when Baltimore beat the 49ers since then viewing levels have wavered and then some. Switched stations soon as any half-time "entertainment" came on and by the time you realized Buccaneers were unable to be caught didn't bother to see the end ceremony and presentation.

First win for Tampa in what must be near 20 years and they got victory in Florida and beat the now ex Champions with it. Brady was and is immense what a stellar career you got there but one man doesn't deserve adulation alone. Hard to get involved as once before but it's the showcase event of one of our national sports. Growing numbers each year for interest outside the US in what occurs up to and including the Finals guess that can only be a good thing. Years back stages like this would go largely unrecognized for a great many. Interest with a wider net has come on leaps and bounds.

It's really amazing what Brady has done. Not just winning his 7th Super Bowl, but in one season he's taken a team that wouldn't have even been in the playoff picture without him. I guess you could argue Brady has learned his trade from Belichick, even though Bill now seems lost without Tom. I'm not sure if Brady would be interested, but surely there's still a place for him in the Patriots organization...maybe the GM...or perhaps the head coach? Love him or hate him, the one thing we do know about Tom Brady's future is he'll forever be remembered as the GOAT!

I actually enjoyed the game. People have been focusing on Mahomes being bad, (which he was) ..., but the Bucs both offensively and deeeeefensively were brilliant to watch. The defence just crashed through everything KC had to offer. Was entertaining. HT show was unbelievably SHYTE but (IMO) they all are.
But, decent game.

All he needs to do is keep on playing. There is no reason why he should retire. Let age catch him........, until then, if he's winning Super Bowls, why stop. Keep at it, Tom.
Would he go back to Belichick & the Pats?

Thoughts with you Rob "THE DON" Cook right now as your San Fran 49ers dismantle the Detroit Lions in the first quarter of the new season, in Detroit.

Well, almost left the Live stream halfway through the 3rd quarter when it was 41-17 San Fran......., but stuck with it as I was enjoying the American online banter, (funny stuff on the Live stream)......., and the Lions stormed back..... still defeated 41-33 but had the ball with seconds remaining and were as high as the 15 yard line......, but incomplete 4th down pass handed the 9ers the win. The Lions previous 2 TDs were 8 pointers due to going for the extra 2, so fans were thinking the 41-41 and OT ........, but not to be. Would say great game, but it wasn't......., GREAT 4th quarter.

Minnesota lost to a last minute field kick against the Cardinals last time out, got the opportunity to take in some action. One last time don't share the same passion as years before but got to believe the chance is always there to do something I.e. make it through and win the Super Bowl. No Vikings team has ever won it, it would be a great accolade if one day such an achievement were to occur.

Browns have gone to 3-1 on the season...afraid to speculate what might happen this year for fear of jinxing it!

I agree marko, I think of Don whenever the Niners are mentioned.
