Re: NFL Time!!!
Who’s staying up for the super Superbowl?! Got off work early and already on my fourth beer. Hot wings & fries (chips) for dinner! Hell yeah! Let’s see if the Chiefs can kick the Eagles as* (arse)!! A nice break from the contentious environment of ITFC & the messiah who is KM!!!

Re: NFL Time!!!
I know they are a divisional rival but genuine question......., do you never root for the NFC? Or is that not a done thing in the USA?

Yeah there’s part of me that knows an Eagles win would look good for the division, but I’m a Cowboys fan so there’s that too.

Hey Marko, the NFL pundits are picking the Lions as divisional champions! I wouldn’t put money on it though haha!

Re: NFL Time!!!
A favourite saying of most Michigan based Lions fans is , “Show me, Don’t tell me” …… the absolute shittest franchise in the NFL for its size and stature.
Good article ……. But,
, ——>> believe it when it happens. No wagers being placed!
FTR, the last time the Lions done anything significant, my mother was 10 years old.

Now we've finally got rid of Rodgers, albeit 2 seasons too late I can see the Packers bouncing back to boss the division.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Just found out today by accident that “Erin” is @ the Jets. That’ll be interesting to keep an eye on. Tony aka Shed on Tour should be raising at least an eyebrow to this.
Can he do a Brady and thrive at another franchise? Wouldn’t wager anything on it but adds spice to the season.
Loser Leos must be doing something right offseason…….. they’re favourites to take the NFC North. Can only assume Green Bay FudgePackers are not setting the world afire like usual.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Well, Brady was supposed to be a “has been” @ the Bucs.
Not by any means comparing Erin with the goat, but ——>> new surroundings for a SB winning QB.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Tbh not convinced that our OL will give Erin the protection he needs. Will have to see how it works out, some are talking about a playoff place but tbh I will just be happy with a winning season.marko69 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2023 3:23 pmWell, Brady was supposed to be a “has been” @ the Bucs.

Yeah Marko, I think this is the year for the Lions to make a push! They have been creeping up the past couple of years.

Rodgers has lost it, not the same powerhouse he once was.

Re: NFL Time!!!
The Americans really do take things to whole new levels. Detroit Lions “training camp” starts. Fans are queuing for tickets. They’re selling 10K + tickets to watch them train. Hibs are ok with 10K @ actual games.

I wish I could say the Cowboys are SB contenders, but I can’t. The weakness is in Dak. The rest of the team are primed, but you have to have a commanding QB to get there. Prove me wrong Mr Prescott!

Re: NFL Time!!!
No disrespect to those Packers, but they were heavily tipped to sweep aside the shitty Bears. Might actually be worrying that the Bears scored 20 on the fudge. But still “a road game” win so
Reckon those 49ers are going to roast a few teams this season. Certainly my tip for SuperBowl success.

Jets kickoff tonight against the Bills. Time for the talk to stop and produce the results on the field.

That didn't last long, Shed. Erin injured only a few minutes into the game. Jets season done & dusted. Think they were counting on that OAP.

You couldn’t make it up! Said earlier in this thread about my concerns with the OL having the ability to protect Rodgers. The joys of being a Jets fan.
