David Bowie

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

Such a shame he's gone. I throughly enjoyed the film Labyrinth he was in.

A genius musician and the master of reinvention. I just loved his spell as Ziggy Stardust it was so original.

RIP David Bowie you we're such an influence to so many during your lifetime and will be sadly missed by many more.

Sad to see. Like a lot of people my age, I've many memories with Bowie's music. I saw him in concert in North Carolina of all places! His music transcends a generation, I think. Now Major Tom is in the stars.

Found myself thinking today about a girl at my High School......., she was into David Bowie in a major (tom-boy) way. Whatever hairstyle he had, she also had. There was no law on uniform at the school so she would also wear some real wacky clothing. Pretty sure she is a paramedic now.

Aw sh*t. Now I'm thinking about the lesbian ambulance driver in Casualty. Fuuuuck!

Again, RIP David Bowie.

One of the most influential songwriters of all time. Some would argue worthy of iconic status, but I was never really a fan of his music. Not only that, but featured in movie titles such as Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence and the often overlooked Labyrinth.

All the same, a significant loss. May he rest in peace.

There's very few people I would fall over myself to try and meet through work. That day will now never happen.

Such a shame to lose such a talented and original guy.

I'm really late on this, but I was absolutely gutted. Huge fan, and had just listened to one of his tracks three times in a row, arrived at a camp site over summers hols and saw a Facebook post by Riv, just stunned.

Way too early.
