Re: Who said that?
As far as I know, the quote is not from a movie. Said speaker is of French origin.

He “stared” in films? Did he have an overactive thyroid gland?

Eric Cantona. Been in one or two movie titles and prone to moments of ill-discipline. Don't see what he gets up to now, maybe makes more film titles than before but worth an attempt.

#1 The Jack in question relates to Jackie Charlton
#2 The speaker was talking on an event that took place in 1995

Don't use reference for answers, it's only fair. Spoils things for others, you don't need no assistance to glean an answer, it always arrives in due course.
This does have an Irish connection although can't be 100 per cent the speaker is Irish themselves. Maybe one of those instances where someone had a far-removed grandparent from Waterford or something. It's a tough one, but as before time will determine a correct response.

Re: Who said that?
Bloody useless google piece of sh*t. It’s coming up with nothing for this one.
Oh sh*t, sorry. Should’ve thought that instead of saying it.
David O’Leary ?

Think Saint said this person uttered these words in 1995, Nics. Lennon was 15 years gone.

Re: Who said that?
Don't know how you got it but that was a right answer. Expected this to run a while longer.
Niall Quinn was speaking after the Republic of Ireland's EURO 96 loss to the Netherlands at Anfield in the play-off game of late 1995.

Re: Who said that?
Could be Ramsey after the English played off with Argentina at the 1966 World Cup last eight, seems somehow too obvious but that's not to say it's a right response.
