Brexit Update 2021

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

Brexit Update 2021

Post by number 9 » Sun Sep 12, 2021 6:00 pm

I found this article today, so I’m just sharing if anyone is interested. The Brexit debate has seemingly been swept under the carpet since the pandemic hit although occasionally it rears it’s ugly head:

It is certainly hitting the supply of various heating and plumbing parts, 9. More the heating side. Trying to get some continental boilers or boiler parts, (pumps etc) is definitely noticeably more difficult.
Had an unvented job a couple months back where a secondary circulation pump was required, (house huge) ….., but STILL waiting on that pump. Invoiced the client anyway but had to hold back on part of the payment. Absolute pain. Kind of feel sorry for the merchants. They “feel” like they’re making excuses when i call, but i do understand their predicament.
