Re: RIP Shane Warne
AFL SEASON starts tomorrow night, Oz time, 8:10am UK time. Opener, last seasons Champions Melbourne Demons v last seasons runners up Western Bulldogs
SHANE WARNE was a major St Kilda Saints fan. Went to games when he could. They KO v Collingwood Magpies on Friday night.
Big game though is Thursday night at the MCG….. the mighty Richmond Tigers v Carlton Blues. Going to be one very tough and competitive season. I reckon those TIGES finish top 4 for the qualifying rounds.

Re: RIP Shane Warne
Richmond 76 Carlton 101
Bad start. Tigers leading going into the 4th Q, then , either a Carlton masterclass or a Richmond collapse.
And Shane Warnes Saints? Bad start. 102-85 Magpies.
Long, tough season ahead.

Re: RIP Shane Warne
Quoting myself here, , but for anyone even slightly imterested…….. after that first St Kilda loss, they’ve won 5 straight for a 5-1 record after 6. Great win just finished, 77-60 over GWS.
Traditionally a relatively shitty team are the Saints……… but they’re playing out of their skins for Shane Warne this season. Ipswich Town could take a leaf out of St Kilda’s book for today's performance alone. Real gutsy showing.
