Plymouth Injury News - Could this be significant ?
Ipswich Town’s League One promotion rivals, Plymouth, have suffered a significant blow with the news Finn Azaz faces three months on the sidelines.
The Aston Villa loanee has been one of the table-toppers' star performers this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists, but suffered an ankle injury in their victory over Shrewsbury last week.
"It's quite a serious ankle injury,” Argyle manager Steven Schumacher said of Azaz. “He's going to be missing for a good while - 10 to 12 weeks maybe.
I’ve no idea how big their squad is but they certainly wouldn’t want to lose another of their ever present players although it didn’t appear to harm them on Monday night.

All we can hope for is a few more like that for them over the next month or so, Christmas would be ideal ready for our Jan meeting. Gives a chance for them to drop down a bit and us to capitalise.
I think these will also be down to Conga related injuries and not hard training, all to the tune of 'do do do, come and do the Ginsters'.

I believe they already have 3 or 4 players out injured. Think they are more capable of coping with injuries with the squad they have now than last season. Long way to go and anything can happen but I feel they are less likely to fall away than last season.

We have a far deeper squad than they do. Speaking to a friend and Wednesday fan, he's saying exactly that, he expects Plymouth to drop away, especially when they pick up injuries over winter. It's what happened last season.

It's exactly what will happen to them, injuries or not we'll still finish above them.

I’m really struggling with the Sone Aluko analogy BB.
Plymouth’s Finn Azaz has started every game for Plymouth so far this season and is their 2 highest goal scorer and provider of assists with more than any Town player. How does this compare with Sone Aluko with one start for Town which lasted 72 minutes and 6 Sub appearances with a total of 72 further minutes. No Goals and No Assists. I’m surprised we’ve even missed him or maybe we haven’t.

At first I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinking how could we cope with no Burns down that side
Then I spent so many nights worrying that it would go wrong
But I grew strong, we had Kyle Edwards all along.......

Who sung this?? Most definitely hand up here!
Nothing better than a chart song from the past being converted. The cabbage had it back in 07 with Rob Jones to tune of Gold by the Spandex Ballet. Big fan favourite.
