Nothing surprises me regarding the sacking of football managers now.
No doubt if we don’t go up this season there will be considerable pressure on KM next season to get the job done.

I wish I had the confidence you have in ITFC. As I said a few weeks back if we were offered 2nd place now I would snap their hands off. Have a feeling it could go right down to the wire for automatics and might even mean us needing a result at Fleetwood on the 6th May. Mind you that day has been good to us in the past in terms of getting a big result.

He signed a new 3 year contract on 25th October 2022. Unbelievable.

Will he not get a bigger payoff or any compensation seeing he has just signed a new contract?

Is this one of those ..."We've just found out you humped the chairman's wife"..... type stories?

I reckon another manager is available and they are going after him , at Richardson’s expense ( we’ll Wigans actually!)

Reckon he’ll end up at Chesterfield with Cook lol

It seems crazy sacking him just 16 days after signing a new improved 3yr year contract. Team results were already in decline with only 2 wins from 8 Championship games played in October, surely they must have considered the potential consequences if that trend continued. You have to wonder if The Board and the Football Club Executives were actually aligned. It could well be his new contract was offered as a reward for him being the League 1 Manager of The Season last year and he’d sat on it for a while and signed it quickly after a run of poor results. I can’t think of any other explanation.
