David Johnson
Has passed away at the age of 71. Remember watching him play for us on many occasions in the 70’s. Had a good chat with him once on a train back to London after a home game.
RIP David

Super player for Town, not terribly old, RIP.
I believe the Men's clothes shop he opened in the town is still there, " Jonty's in Tacket Street.

Re: David Johnson
RIP “ Jonty”. I met him not long after he joined the club. Really nice bloke and very down to earth tbh.
It always amazes me how many of our past hero’s ( our club and other clubs), all seem to die so young, and certainly below the National age of longevity.
