Town not clicking so far. First touch letting them down in midfield and final third. Also we have been f**king about at the back a bit. Need to step up gear I feel. They look dangerous when we give it away.

So this is a Championship Referee Spot the difference 🤔 impossible i would say.
I guess they all make mistakes and we’ve certainly seen a few of those already this afternoon. If there is a difference maybe he lets play run more and isn’t afraid to play the advantage compared with blowing the whistle at every contact. At least the EFL have made an effort compared with some of the ridiculous appointments earlier in the season.

Thought signs returning to form these past few games. Even when coming off bench last weekend in the cup. Nearly his first touch he skinned defender by the by line producing wonderful cross ball

Anyway lets hope we see this out today

I wish Walton would stop pissing around, sooner or later he’s going cost us big time.

I’d like to see a second goal but this might be one of those days to take 1-0.

And that's why you buy defenders not strikers :(

That was a wonder goal, sometimes got to tip your hat and give them credit.. Far as Plymouth falling away I really don't think so.

Feckin ifollow. Goes off then I find its 1-1. How the hell did they score, never in the game. Lapado getting praise from commentary, however had he passed twice to burns he was in on goal, instead he fluffs two week attempts. Soo pissed off tonight. Hope Hirst gets the go ahead oner Lapado from now on

Disappointing to lose another late goal but Plymouth are where they are for a reason.
Would have taken a draw before the game but really need to get a good run of wins going.
Decent run of fixtures coming up and Town really need to get consistent if they are to deserve to go up.

By a sheer piece of class playing. A wonder go straight into the top corner. Shame for us because it seems we were in driving seat throughout second half. Its gut wrenching though

Yeah, I've not seen it yet, you're likely right, it seems a relatively fair result anyway. Its rare that nothing could be done to prevent a goal however.

Still doesn't change the fact that the team has conceded to easily and often in the past.

Just as Nisbet equalises for Hibs in the 90(+2) with goal of the season contender, Plymouth also equalise, same time. Very much bitter sweet. Teams in green are both hero & villain.

But, @ Portman Road, not the best result. Heard it was a wonder strike there too, so 🤷‍♂️.

Must go on a run of victories now with a pile of very winnable games coming up.

P,lease explain what a f**king new defender would have done? A new wonder CB can only cover so much ground. We have to defend better as a team ans we're simply sh*t at it. If we're so good at getting 70% possession - then why do we suddenly become a different team when we see a game out and defend so deep and keep giving the ball back to them? It's just inviting pressure. Its got f*ck all to do with just the CB's.... its the whole team.

Once again can't defend a 1-0 lead and concede in injury time. This a sucker punch result :x

I’m not sure we should be looking to blame defenders or the teams lack of ability to hold onto a lead. That was a brilliant game of football played in the right spirit by two teams who fancied their chances of winning. On reflection had we been sharper in front of goal maybe we should have scored 3 ( Ladapo pass to Burns for a tap in and Harness’s blast over the goal from inside 10 yards ) but then so could have Plymouth. Probably a draw was a fair result but how close we were to seeing the game out it just feels like a defeat.

Still a long way to go with lots more twists and turns. Let’s enjoy it and pray for the best outcome.

Well that was so disappointing. My brief comments as all I can bear at present.. i think today it looked like we are not as good as we think we are. They came to close down our ball from the back game and we had nothing to counter it. That surprised me as I am sure McKenna should have had a plan b for that tactic?

Since when did we become a heading, long ball team? It was bizarre that we played that way and it was like watching a different team. Plymouth were not great but we were poor and never got going. Then the sucker punch that happens every week to us.

So annoyed but 4 points off top if we win our game in hand and 19 games to go so all to play for.

Ladapo is just not a goal scorer, walton was awful and the rest were not at the races. Not a good day I am afraid.

100% correct
Would add though that its natural for teams to sit in for final 10 mins or so . The best teams do it.
Problem is Ipswich are poor at it. Probably the main area McKenna needs to sort out as far to many points being dropped.

We stopped playing after we scored, someone said we have dropped 14 points in injury time, I'm gutted but plenty of time to go on a run.

All these people who reckon we don't need defenders, lmfao.

Walton a joke these days too, needs dropping.

McKenna needs to find the nous to see out f**king games.

That said, win game in hand and it's only a four point gap, that's nothing and certainly not season defining.
