I think I read he’s 6’3”…maybe 6’5” with his hair! All joking aside, he certainly looks calm in the box. I think he’s coming here I can feel it! Re: Transfer Rumours
I really hope we sign this guy, I know these You Tube clips always look good but this lad can finish, he's very quick in the box, very predatory and alert, can score from distance, looks very strong and powerful too, amazed I've not really seen anything of him but deffo like what I see here.

Its got that “Grant Holt to Hibs” feel about it; he’s a budgie but hoped he did well ——->> Simms, jambo (constantly faking injury bstd) but hope he does well for ITFC…… if he arrives at PR.

Isn’t Jambo quite an insulting term? Relating to the black attendants on golf courses who had jam in their hair to attract the bees/flies etc away from the golfers?

Seems like there might be something in the Simms thing.
£3.5m would be good business for you guys.
As we lose yet another goal scorer with no replacements anywhere to be seen!

Terrific hold up play. Very strong. Finishing not so good, but he came in to a game latterly. Very good.
Just needs games IMO.

Re: Transfer Rumours
Your buddy & Bluemike are correct. (YouTube reels being notorious for overly positive viewing) ……. He (Simms) did miss a shedload more than he scored. Like Sears i suppose, ie, knew exactly where the net was, and had the ability ——>> just made an arse of 8 out of 10.trimleyblue wrote: ↑Fri Jun 16, 2023 11:24 amThis from a mate who is a Hearts supporter

Some of the goals he scored on that reel wouldn't have happened if the keeping had been better.marko69 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 16, 2023 1:19 pmYour buddy & Bluemike are correct. Knocked a few into and through the goalie rather than round them - a little lucky!
Although being lucky is a good trait to have as well.

Re: Transfer Rumours
^^^ yep ^^^
Some of those goals , the defending? Woeful.
Great finishing v Hibs in that reel but the lead up by the defence was shocking. Having said that ——>>the very slightest of touches on the guy and he over, rolling around holding his face or clutching his leg. It allows fear to creep into the defence.
All teams guilty by the way……. Martin Boyle @ Hibs can “fall” when he feels its necessary. James Norwood liked a wee “collapse” now and again.

Re: Transfer Rumours
Championship trio Norwich City, Ipswich Town and Watford are plotting moves to sign winger Georgi Rusev, sources have told Football Insider.
The Bulgarian, 24, has caught the eye of a number of clubs across Europe after impressing for club and country over the last 12 months.
Norwich, Ipswich and Watford are looking to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season and they have been keeping tabs on Rusev.
He was outstanding for CSKA 1948 last season with over 20 goal contributions for his side, scoring seven goals and providing 15 assists in 39 games in all competitions.
Rusev, who had a short spell in Spain with Elche, would be interested in a move away to a bigger league and the opportunity to play in England.
The winger started his youth career with DIT Sofia before moving to Elche’s youth team in 2016. The Bulgarian international would also go on to have spells with fellow Spanish side Getafe and Septemvri Sofia before joining CSKA 1948.
Rusev received his first call-up for the Bulgaria national team on 5 September 2022 for UEFA Nations League games against Gibraltar and North Macedonia, and he has since gone on to make six appearances.
Norwich have already looked to strengthened the wings this summer by targeting full-back Kellen Fisher from Bromley. The potential addition of Rusev would further bolster the options for the Canaries.
Meanwhile, Ipswich Town and Watford would also be potential destinations for Rusev’s aim to play in England.

Re: Transfer Rumours
Age not on his side, Cabanas but he has the stats of a proper striker. Goals to games ratio is top notch and he should be ok for the SPL for next season at least.Cabanas Blue wrote: ↑Fri Jun 16, 2023 5:25 pmBreaking news Marko Hibernian have signed Adam Is Fondre, just 36 years old and has always scored plenty your thoughts ?

Re: Transfer Rumours
Sometimes things just go stale, and a reset is needed. Everton have been skirting with relegation for a couple of seasons now I think. Problem is this myth about getting relegated to reset is not as simple or easy as it sounds. You can’t always get rid of the dead wood, as no one else wants em, ( and getting promotion again is far from easy). With player ditching, We were lucky in that a lot of ours had their contracts coming to an end at the same time, and we do have Paul a cook and his famous self dubbed “ Demolition Man” stance to thank, for ditching the bloody lot of em. Problem was he became part of the exodus too!ijjysmith wrote: ↑Sun Jun 18, 2023 8:04 pmOur whole squad is dead wood mate. Re: Transfer Rumours
I think you’re about to get an injection of money. The owners won’t let EFC fall, and I wouldn’t be surprised if a new manager is appointed. It may be another mid table season, but you’ll survive. (Sorry, forgot Dyche was appointed.)ijjysmith wrote: ↑Sun Jun 18, 2023 8:04 pmOur whole squad is dead wood mate. First of all I don't believe it but hope I'm wrong, it's been said that there have been sightings of Ellis Simms in Ipswich someone said they got a photo with him. Bull I expect but you never know..

Wouldn’t surprise me, it’s rumoured we’ve made a bid for him. Likely other championship clubs will get out I’d by us too.
Seems similar to Hirst and a someone who fits the profile. No doubt not harmed by having Broadhead hear to have a word in his ear too.

Re: Transfer Rumours
Everton are reportedly still to accept any offers for striker Ellis Simms.
As reported last week, Simms is among the strikers the Blues are eyeing as they look to strengthen ahead of their return to the Championship with other clubs also keen.
According to The Athletic, the Toffeemen will be looking to raise cash during the close season with a decision on Simms expected to be made soon but with no offers yet having been accepted.

I’d say it’s fake just because of the laughable transfer fee £4m??? LolBluemike wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 1:59 pmA biggish transfer coming in the next week or so, not sure this can be true though, thinking fake account........

Put it this way , I’d be disappointed if we paid that for a player who’s spent most of his career out on loan .

Meant to be good. I think one of the town podcasts singled him out as a potential good buy.
