Re: Hirst injury update
The only consolation is its happened just prior to the Transfer window so we can replace him.

Re: Hirst injury update
Not good news. Definitely needs to be covered be it a permanent or a suitable loan player but either will need to be of equal or better quality than Hirst who won’t be easy to replace. Unfortunately neither Ladapo or Jackson are really good enough to be the replacement even for 6 weeks.

KMc saying a couple having scans ahead of the QPR game but not naming them that's not good.

Re: Hirst injury update
Unfortunately this is the time of year when injuries can start to build up especially when you get a window like we’re in with 4 games over 10 days which is quite ridiculous especially for clubs with smaller squads.

I think they overly eater thst pitch . You iftrr et n see players slipping on it. I know why they water it, but pll lol Ayers are essentially playing on a skating rink. Hirst appeared to slip as he reached for Woolfie’s pass … he could be out for weeks now.

The operative word being “reached”……. Mike could be right, ……. Having to reach for the useless tossers pass.hallamblue wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2023 4:31 pmI think they overly eater thst pitch . PS……. Edit to add……. He’d still be world class in the current Hibs defence. Now they ARE useless.

Re: Hirst injury update
Apparently Hirst was at the ground tonight but was on crutches and not putting any weight through that leg. Not looking good is it !

Re: Hirst injury update
If you’ve played football, you’ll know how easy it is to re-injure a hamstring after recovery. With Hirst on crutches, that’s even more proof this is a significant injury. I hate to say it, but Hirst may be struggling with this for the rest of his career.

Also puts a 2x price multiplier on whoever we're after in January. Clubs know we're desperate now
