Let's hope this Wimbledon striker works out better than the last one, piggott had also scored a lot of goals.
Was thinking exactly the same thing as I was scrolling through!!

He'll hopefully be ok assuming he's the back up striker to whoever else may be coming in.

Looks likely that it ain’t going to be Moore or Stansfield - both reportedly staying put. Not sure about Gallagher situation - still possible? Linked to possible move of Juckovitz from B’ham. (Think B’burn currently focussing on getting big bucks for Wharton). So, hopefully, work in progress to bring in A N Other. Suggestions on a post card!

Can't see him being any better than Jackson, and they're asking 1 and a half million!

Ipswich Town are interested in signing Austrian international striker Maximilian Entrup, according to a report from Sky Sports Germany. Entrup, 26, has spent the previous four seasons playing in the third-tier of Austrian football for FCM Traiskirchen and FC Marchfeld Donauauen.

If you’re referring to Al-Hamadi according to the South London Press Wimbledon want over 2 million for him now. At this rate by the end of the weekend we will need to break our transfer record to get him.

He looks decent to my eye, but how the hell can you tell what he'll look like two divisions up? If we're talking big money, then that's a sign that no others are coming in. Who knows what the best option will be, let's just hope that we have a few to mull over before the deadline.

It’s not looking good at the moment especially with Bournemouth playing Keifer Moore tonight for 45 mins which suggests they may be planning on keeping him as back up for Solanke so that’s another option possibly eliminated. This is turning out to be a very tough window at least for those clubs needing striker reinforcements.

Not sure why 9, he just wasn’t up to Championship football, his first touch isn’t good enough neither is his pace or finishing. My biggest concern now is that some of the players we’re being linked with don’t appear to be much better.

Also, we are showing our interest in the 26-year-old Burnley striker Manuel Benson whom Leeds have had talks with today, now he is looks the business scoring-wise 13 to date

I am hoping we do not go in again for Gallagher, BR just know we are desperate and trying their luck. Shift elsewhere, rather be without the BR arse!

This is going to be like waiting for the bus, nothing for ages then bang........2 or 3 on the bounce!

Well its getting close to the sharp end now so we will see new arrivals imminently, and one or two out, even on loan.

That's exactly what we should have done until we had a,replacement or Two secured, its gonna look ridiculous if that fails to materialise and we go to the end of the season with Jackson as our only player resembling anything like a striker, which he isn't. You just can't imagine this will happen.

Unless Freddie was causing grief in the squad, which is surely unlikely, it really seems improbable that he’d be loaned out without something concrete in the mix. I reckon there’s someone coming from left field.

Also maybe the had to take the deal for Freddie before clubs went elsewhere? I/e get his wages off, if you are confident of being able to bring someone else in.

hopefully they are confident :D

So far as Gallagher is concerned, it seems that B’burn are determined that he won’t be coming to us - whatever the offer.

If our continued pursuit does prove successful - and KM appears to be on a mission to get him - the question is will we have brought in the quality striker we need for the money we might eventually pay? Personally not sure. Time to tell them to foxtrot oscar and move on. (Except don’t think we will!)

He only has 6 months left on his contract and they are cash strapped, so really shouldn't be paying over the odds here. AND there doesn't seem to be a host of clubs after him either.

I think he would be a very expensive repair patch. I think he'd do a job, but I'm not sure he's a player that would elevate the team like most of our League 1 signings did. At his age, he is not going to get much better or more valuable...

Now if you bring in Gallagher and Al-Hamadi (or one of the continental promising players), then that's something I could get excited about.

None of us know what the situation was with Ladapo.
If he was rocking the boat in any way, then getting rid would normally be seen as a good thing, but not when that leaves Jackson as the only recognised "striker" in the squad (in quotes as to my mind he is not a striker and never will be).

So I think most of us thought that a replacement for him was lined up and would be announced soon.
That has not happened, and if nothing materialises in the next week then getting rid of Ladapo without a replacement will rightly be seen as one of the biggest c*ck-ups in the club's history. Read into that what you will.

Exactly, and those who run the club are not that incompetent, so it was obviously the right decision to let him out on loan, of that I'm absolutely certain.

Some people are waiting to pounce on stuff aren’t they? Waiting for a chink in the armour to materialise. 2nd in the Championship coming up to February and , “c*ck up” chat! 🤦‍♂️ Wouldn’t want to be Kieron & Co……. And if i was, unless i had a thick skin, i’d stay the fk away from the social media platforms.

Only 26th today, so, YES! Plenty time til the window closes. Faith things will happen.

Just to add; if losing Ladapo without replacement is considered a historical c*ck-up…… then thats a GOOD thing for Kieron ——->> because that’d underline that you were never going to get promotion anyway. Jaysus H. 🤦‍♂️
