He looked happy, his first goal since New Years Day, class by Conor Chaplin to let him take it.

The 2nd half as easy as it gets, total control with little risk. Really like Al-Hamadi

Swansea away on Saturday should be no more difficult than tonight’s game. Let’s hope we can find another performance like tonight’s once we settled down.

3pts at the Vetch Field on Saturday.
(Thats 3 charger points for your electric car)
Then onto wherever Swansea play for another very important win. 🥾🦢

They have lost their last 3 home games but won at home v WBA on New Years Dsy. If we play like we did tonight I’ll go 0-3 to Town and with Southampton away to WBA on Friday night we’ll know what’s needed before kick off.

It’s just nice to see us scoring again and getting a clean sheet. Gutsy decision by KM to leave Chaplin on the bench. We just need to keep the momentum going no matter who starts.

Don’t know what to make of that. The goals were just strange. First one a great grader from a poor cross, the second an own goal, the third a mistimed grader ( I don’t think he meant to bounce it over the keeper) and the fourth a penalty for a foul outside the area.
However, after the first 20 minutes out so it was a thoroughly dominant display. Not totally convinced by Hutchinson playing centrally; he’s young and still hasn’t learned when to release the ball. Excellent with the ball at his feet but could be more effective if he didn’t insist on taking players on every time. But that’s nit picking, a very convincing win.

Just noticed Edmundson wasn’t even on the bench. Is he injured?

Great to be at the match tonight - Town fans embarrassingly for Millwall dominating the noise in the stadium.
Someone else mentioned Omari going down in the first half and then Town resetting for the better. I think that's right - once he was on the floor, all the other Town players went over to KMc and thereafter all Millwall's threat was gone! Before then there had been a few nervous moments and Hladky had to make a couple of smart saves.
But in truth, once Broady got one it was pretty one-sided stuff. A great result for us.
Really like the look of Al Hamadi -he looks strong and skilful and the way he grabbed the ball and whacked the pen in spoke loads about his confidence and desire.

Re: Championship - Millwall FC vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
The thing that impressed me tonight was the fighting spirit like Hutchinson, Samiento, and Al-Hamadi got stuck in I mean Jeffry was a real handful as was |Hutch, we were much better with Burgess in the back line and brought the stability we lacked in previous games, the overall work rate of the team was so much better and moved the ball much quicker, I would still have liked to see Axel given 20 minutes he did look a bit peeved off on the bench I just can't see why Kieran doesn't give him more game time, Kieffer has made a world of difference upfront the striker we craved for its so much more positive and in defence he's a tower of strength, and rather than bringing on Jackson which was a waste of time, either Harness or Axel would have been the better choices, Hladky was superb between the sticks made some really important saves, Broadhead, getting the man of the match was well earned, we must keep up this pressure of not letting teams take control quick passing and keep challenging all the time, hopefully we can repeat this win against Swansea on Saturday.
