Do you not see Phillips and Morsy being very similar players? Don't you think we need someone like Cajuste to do the 8 role?

It will be very interesting to see what McKenna comes up with, can Morsy push on, will those two be initially rotated. It's a jigsaw that now has more pieces, but I'm not sure just how they fit.

I think Broja could be a real handful and an improvement on what we have, maybe a risk whether he'll find form. May allow Delap to move to the left wing, where he may be more effective (based on little knowledge on my part).

Are we starting to move from anxiously needing more players to being in danger of getting too many and unsettling the squad?!

I would say it's pretty much job done apart from the wide man, how fab would it be to nab Jack Clarke late in the day.

Some mouth watering prospects for sure, it's frustrating things have to get so close to the season opener to start moving though. It has to take a couple of months to get players playing McKenna's system with 90% competency. We have to keep faith and keep heads up if we have a rocky start, I can't see it any other way if we're making 6 or 7 changes to a starting line up with half of those coming in at the last minute.

Phillip’s will be chomping at the bit to prove his doubters wrong, and under KM’s tutelage I can see him regaining his form.

Some Wet spam supporters have been saying he will not improve, he was bad last season & responsible for alot of poor results & the sacking of their manager.

Much as I don’t mind Moyes - I think KM is different league and will get the best out of him. Obv pep is amazing but it’s probably hard if your not a big fish - here he will have the chance of be one of the main men

Don’t be too shocked to see DCL leave before the window ends. And to be honest none of us are that arsed about it. He makes us better but he’s declined a very good contract offer so he do one after we supported him through his toughest times.

It’s been confirmed by the EADT and just now by Talk Sport that Town have finally agreed to meet Blackburn Rovers £9m price tag for Sammie Szmodics.

I see it’s also been confirmed by the BBC and New York Times so I’m guessing there’s been a press release.
