A lot of our important players for last season were brought in during the previous January window, they were here for 8 months before the season started.
I work in Norwich & hear it first hand lolhallamblue wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 12:29 amWithout wishing to put a spanner in the works and jinx it, every time we go in for a player now, we seem to get them. There's some hard nosed negotiating going on at this Club now, and it's working.
Mind you, if you want a laugh, venture onto the pink un forum to see the budgies comments about our transfer dealings. Comedy gold .
Do they mind you going into work EVERY DAY wearing your Town shirt ? Gotta be done innitMariner67 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 10:08 amI work in Norwich & hear it first hand lolhallamblue wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 12:29 amWithout wishing to put a spanner in the works and jinx it, every time we go in for a player now, we seem to get them. Thing is though, I'm a tad pissed off with this o'shea...not that long ago he dimissed us. Now he can see the calibre of players we're signing, all of a sudden he wants in?
Yeah, I get that, it's not great, but he wouldn't come here if he doesn't think he can completely commit. He's obviously been relegated with Burnley who were excellent in the Championship previously and had a young exciting manager of their own, so you can't blame him for seeing other teams as a safer opportunity to stay in the Premiership and progress?? As soon as he's in Town, sees the players, the setup and how McKenna works, I'm sure he'll be pretty enthused pretty sharpish.hallamblue wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 1:02 pmThing is though, I'm a tad pissed off with this o'shea...not that long ago he dimissed us. If O'Shea is indeed considering a move to Ipswich, I'm sure he's already spoken to Muric about the set up and the manager.Ricco wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 1:08 pmYeah, I get that, it's not great, but he wouldn't come here if he doesn't think he can completely commit. There's no doubt about it, we do need some decent central defenders. Wonder if we might try for both O'Shea znd the Sheffield Utf CB?Ricco wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 1:08 pmYeah, I get that, it's not great, but he wouldn't come here if he doesn't think he can completely commit.
