Our midfiled last night ....

Post by Bluebird » Wed Feb 15, 2006 6:21 am

FFS what a bunch of tarts! With Garven and Williams missing there was not one player prepared to put their foot in against those feared hard men of Crewe

Matt Richards was so bad he made Currie look butch (well almost  ) Westlake makes the odd challange and Juan was busy, but we were very poor! Stronger opponents would have chewed us up and spat us out!

I hope Garven and Williams are back on saturday, because without Alan Lee to hold the ball up, our midfield will have to perform or we will get stuffed.

We've had comments saying how outstanding Richards was :? maybe that was away from tackling.

Pretty sure Garvan's back after his ban.

I think Richards has been great recently in midfield, but IMHO both saturday and last night, he was busy but crap! His distribution was very poor and defensively he looked worse than Currie, need I say more

For the record, Currie again made a tackle last night, so he is getting better.

Have to agree that the mid-field died and faded as the game went on. Ricco was not tracking back, dispite Barron (man of the match for me)screaming at him to help out!!! Currie's lofted high balls up to mini-mac (pointless).westy was trying but in spurts,Juan was trying to be creative but was on his own,I would of been tempted to take off Currie and introduce Skard, who apparently makes "Chopper Harris" look tame!!! If reports i am getting about this fella are true,we have a ball winner in mid-field!!!Bring it on!

Sorry m8, but i think that is a complete load of bollocks, i though we played really well in midfield, and Richards was man of the match
With respect Jonno, you were either pissed, or you are taking the p*ss.

Well unfortunately I did not go, (yet another town win away I missed)

However according to the Radio commentators, Wtlake is
improving, Richards had a great game...

Mind you it is only Radio commentators.
