agree with putting price in, if anything to keep them competing against each other, not sure about leaving out garvan though

I thought Garvan looked like he needed a rest during that last game. He was in many ways "trying to hard" in a dysfunctional midfield that day...he's had a helluva season and although they never like to be out - I think he needs a rest.

know what your saying and maybe your right, he's been superb since being chucked in and now us as fans expect him to perform every week, which for someone of his age is maybe unrealistic........thing is just can't imagine the middle of the park without him now

I'd love to see Garvan and Skard in the centre of midfield but that wont happen this season

I share your optimisim about Skard....It has been many years since i have seen a player who plays simple football and creates so much bloody space for himself!!! He is such a hard player to mark, always looking for the ball, always ready for a pass.Needs to polish up his timing for a tackle a wee bit,But Hay!!!someone in midfield who loves to tackle?Apart from that short spell at Palace,Ive only seen him for the reserves, but i'm liking what i'm seeing!!
