play-off sickness

Post by James the Brains » Fri May 05, 2006 3:02 pm

Leeds are playing Preston in their first leg and I can't help but feel sad that we're not involved this year. The play-offs are the most thrilling football competition in the world bar none - but they will be poorer without us. still I expect sparks to fly and my tip is Leeds United. as West Ham proved last year and Man City before, the 'big' clubs always seem to find a way to get through when they find themselves in the play-offs. 40,000 at Elland Road should provide an intimitating atmosphere for Preston who are no strangers to play-off defeat, much like ourselves.

that maybe so , but he's still a grade A, C**T

He pissed off the Leeds fans by taking his time to come off just to prove that he is in fact . one of the above.

he may be a c**t, but hes still one of the best players in the championship, if preston dont go up then i think he'll be on his way to the prem anyway

just goes to prove that there are very good players in the lower leagues if ur prepared to take a chance....

They said on the Tv last night that Preston was a SELLING CLUB,yet they are always there or about the Playoffs.Erm havent we had that tag as well?
Yet that has got to be something to do with the Scouts at clubs?
Leeds had 4 ex Preston players in their team!
So really are our scouts that good cause if they look there are players that can play footie and are cheap,Sunderland are another club that seem to find players from the lower leagues just to mention one of many Except us!

Wow, thats pretty convincing. Well in all honesty Watford have played
fairly consistant this year and in fairness I think they
deserve promotion out of the 4 play off teams.

Good luck to them.

we need more southern teams in the prem and certainly no-one else from the north west.
