Hello,
Where do I start? I'm a 37 year old Suffolk Boy, married with a 7 year old son who has far too much energy. (You can tell you're getting old when you stop dreaming you'll be a half decent footballer and start dreaming your son might be!)
I've been a Town Supporter all my life. My high points have been
* FA Cup Final 1978
* The 5-0 demolition of the Canaries
* Being in the North Stand when "Gunnie" did his kick!
It hasn't be easy being a Town Fan recently but we've go to keep the faith as I'm sure things will get better given time (and a change in the boardroom).
Anyway, I don't get down to Portman Road as much as I'd like these days so I look forward to chatting with getting back to know exactly whats going on at the club!

Hi All,
I'll add my two cents,
Jonathan (aka Vaalae), born UK...went to SA for 10 years, been in NZ for the last 13 now. Huge town fan and love most sports, play a few (poorly!) Love music..although am tone deaf!! Work as a Utility Consultant negotiating corporate energy & telecommunications contracts. Live in a flat with two other Geminis (which is apparently bad ) been with the same lovely girl for 5 years now...am now eagerly awaiting the day she begins her career as a genius chemical engineer so I can "take it easy" and devote myself to supporting town and doin irrelevant higher study!! (Don't worry I have warned her of this! )

hi i am simon from ipswich,
married with 3 kids
i have been a town fan all my life, i used to all the time home and away but due to getting married, having kids, being up to my bollocks in debt, i cant go at all, but i can count the games i have missed on one hand, when i say missed i mean missed on radio suffolk.
i really love everything about the town , we have the most amazing supporters.
do i hate anything about the blues, well yes people who boo there team off after a rather poor display, ffs dont boo them ,ok you may get frustrated, well i do , but i have NEVER EVER booed off MY team.
by the way , i have a problem with jim being manager, not the fact that he is manager at all, i think he shows the passion and desire for the club, but the day after joe left i was jims postman and saw him in his drive and i told him that he should go for the job,he just laughed, did i get a mention in the press, did i fu*k!!! lol
other things i love. rock music, tattoos, and piercings, god i look a sight.
there you go, a rather long first post!!!
sorry, well i am not sorry,so poo!!!

HELLO PEEPS !
Really am not sure if Ive ever done this ..so here goes :
My name is Liz and I'm Blue to The Bone. Have been a Town fan all my life which is a long..... long ......looooong time now ! Used to stand in the North Stand years ago, when the wall used to appear very high and players such as Micky Mills, Trevor Whymark and Clive Woods were also very young !! I now sit in the "MORGUE " (upper tier South Stand)..mainly cos the people I go with have two kids....but may soon consider going back "home to my roots".
Used to travel all over the Country watching the Blues ...and rushing home to watch them again on MOTD...find I dont have the same amount of time ..nor the the money to do that nowadays. But do try to get to some away games !
My jobs have included initally financial/ clerical at the The Post Office (Cornhill Ipswich)....then at BT (just off the London Wall..then Martlesham Research )...then at The Ipswich Port Authority, before a complete career change when I retrained as a Physiotherapist in Sheffield Hallam University (1997 -2000) - Hence my name "Hallamblue.
Returned to Suffolk in 2000 - couldnt stay away from Portman Road" ...working at West Suffolk Hospital for three years...then Ipswich hospital for two years before going to New Zealand to work for a while...now back in Ipswich again...working for Ipswich PCT and have just started a small private practice out of Gym n Trim calling myself .."Cardinal Physio"....(plug plug )
cant wait for the new season to start where I think Jim and Klughy will do a hell of a job for us over the next couple of seasons tbh ...
see yawl at the game !!
Kind regards
Hallamblue

My name’s Matthew, I’m 29, I was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and moved to Moose Jaw, Sask. (seriously) to start my career.
I don’t post here much, but it’s a great way to keep up on news and opinion for ITFC. So thanks to you all for being sensible and informative posters (or more sensible than some other IFTC boards).
I started supporting Ipswich in the late 80s/early 90s with Forrest and Yallop, plus my grandmother is from Suffolk, so it made sense. IFTC has always been great to Canadians (even Town players have been great for Canada and Canadian clubs . . . Trevor Whymark’s brace for Vancouver in the 1979 final . . . Phil Parkes . . . Bruce Twamley . . . Bobby Robson got his managerial start in Vancouver, etc.) and I think that helped cement it for me.
In any event I’m hooked, though I’ve yet to make the pilgrimage to Portman Road and we rarely get Colaship matches on television here.
I also travel and follow Canada which is its own form of joy and torture in case IFTC didn’t give me enough.
cheers,
matthew

Hey, I'm Teddy. I'm 17 and I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. I'm an Ipswich fan becuase I lived in Colchester most of my life, then I moved to Edinburgh four years ago. I've never supported anyone else, but Ipswich. My favourite Ipswich player is probably Dean Bowditch. I don't get to many games living so far away, but I usually go when we play Coventry away as I've got family iin Coventry. I'm at sixth form and trying to get into law and become a lawyer. That's pretty much it really.

lol.. i knew i had been here before.. i found my old entry under the name 'blueangel' from about 3 years ago.. anyway...
my name is danielle and i am 19. i am currently studying modern languages at the university of essex but i do not like it very much!
i live in stowmarket and am currently missing out on the delightful games of football at portman road due to having to work the afternoon shift on a saturday. but alas, that is all changing in a couple of weeks!
i went to my first football match in 1996.. and i guess that would make me an ipswich fan for about 10 years. doesn't time fly when you're having fun?
my favourite player is lewis price but i do indeed still miss matt holland a whole lot. i don't think that anyone can ever replace him
sorry if this is a bit incoherent! i am tired!!! x

Hello, new (and maybe a bit lazy) poster here.
I'm Ville and I hail from Finland. First and only live Ipswich Town match was in the nineties when ITFC played my now bankrupt hometown club. Not much to tell except that I remember John Wark's haircut and that Craig Forrest was huge!
I'm 22 years old and enjoy football and american football, wich I also play myself. My job is Security.

Hello, my name is Ollie I'm 24 years old, born in Reading, lived in Thatcham moved to Kent then back to Reading in 1992 but never lived in Suffolk
Support Town as my dad is from Lowestoft and my dads side of the family still live in Suffolk, obviously his passion for Town rubbed off on me as I've supported them since I can remember.
Best memory was watching the 2000 play off final in Reading on Sky TV, us winning, loosing my voice and getting to parade around Reading that evening in my Town shirt with my flag, lots of envious faces
Worst memory being at Primary School and loosing 9-0 to Man Utd, that was horrendous because at the time everyone supported Man Utd.

Hello everyone!
My name's Dag, I'm a 20 year old male living in the lovely city of Bonn in Germany, just south of Cologne. Finished school this summer and will start studying next year, ATM i take svedish lessons and try to build up some muscles
Have been an ipswich town fan only for the past 5-6 years when they were up at the Premier League the first season and finished on 5th position. Watched a tv program bout them over here and liked their crest and passing football. Since then i've been a town fan, intensity ever growing.
Hope this season's going to be better then the last one.
SUPER JIM AND UP THE TOWN
