There's nothing I hate more than french music...except maybe that bell sound from when I was a morris dancer. God, I'm being too honest. Btw, my mum brainwashed me into morris dancing.phily bon bon wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Jp3kVelU3c Great french music at i best.

Size 10, 18 hole, Steel Toe Cap, Doctor Martin boot To the Nutsac (featuring) Justin Bieber and One Erection.
Seriously......, what has happened to the music? Where have all the real bands gone? Will we ever see another Dire Straits again? Another Genesis? Another Queen?
Drove back from Falkirk tonight with the wife with the "chart rundown" on the radio. Its all absolute Fkin gash man. I'm a Radio Two man myself so I don't hear much chart stuff...., I was actually quite shocked at how Shyte the music is these days.

There are some brilliant french bands out there singing in both french and english. M83, Phoenix, Ulan Bator, Daft Punk, Ninca Leece to name but a few. French music has come a long way from Vanessa Paradis So has Danish music you would not believe the quaility of some of the Danish artists around at the moment.
Re: What are you listening to?
Danish music, really? Do you have any recommendations, Philly?phily bon bon wrote:Number 9 wrote:Have to admit, I do like Daft Punk's hit!phily bon bon wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Jp3kVelU3c Great french music at i best.

Re: What are you listening to?
Sorry mate, I think I like Marko's version of Danish music better. I listened to a couple of the bands you named, and it reminded me of the music they used to play in Bosnia when I was there in the late 90's. Stinky bars with stinky music, we used to say. Oh dear, Herb will be after me now!phily bon bon wrote:

Re: What are you listening to?
Sorry, PBB......., with aqua and Whigfield being tremendously Shyte, and my use of capitals..... I was trying to be James. I guess the humour was subtle.phily bon bon wrote:Not quite how i would describe them Marko but i guess each to his/her own.marko69 wrote:Aqua & whigfield shyte? ......, go wash your mouth out young man! Incidentally there is a strong lesson in the use of "commas" in an Aqua song.
Example:
Come on, Barbie........., Come on Barbie.
I bet the Don has practised the latter, eh? JOKE!
