Re: NFL Time!!!
Well......, Matty boy just can't handle the pressure, and the Cowgirls march on. Can only be regarded as a successful season though for Caldwell & Co. Hoping the Seahawks win through from the NFC now, f*ck everyone else.

Detroit had us on the ropes, Marko! Dallas just keep scraping out wins though. The Cowboys will have to play a hell of a lot better at Green Bay!

Re: NFL Time!!!
They certainly did, but you must admit, there were a few highly suspicious decisions in that second half. Not making excuses......, (well, I am) the Lions did play a decent game of football. A couple of weird decisions by offensive CO Lombardi to punt on a 4th & 1 in the 4th quarter....., was taken in by the Lions fans disgust at that......, I reckon Joquie Bell would've made that yard, and it changes the game.
But the refs?!! FFS. Kitchens assault on CJ was laughable, that's a Pass Interference any day of the week. That's a flag against the Lions, other way round.
But it's all in the past now. A semi successful season in Caldwells first season since the Schwartz.

Yeah, the only time I have ever seen a PI picked up is when they realise the pass was tipped at the line of scrimmage. That call in this game was just bizarre.

Re: NFL Time!!!
I heard the pass was deemed un-catchable which affects the ruling. I think there were some dubious calls for both teams...just like any sport, you win some you lose some.Ohiotractorboy wrote:Yeah, the only time I have ever seen a PI picked up is when they realise the pass was tipped at the line of scrimmage. C'mon 9, you know Jerry has paid off the refs
Detroit just needed to put a drive together at the end and couldn't .

Re: NFL Time!!!
Both "can" and "can't" believe that result. I can because the fudgepackers at Lambeau are awesome..... But I can't because the NFL's darlings are out.
Sorry mike but I think the Seahawks destroy you guys in the conference game.

I guess any theories about Cowboy's favoritism are out the door, now! Should be a great game in Seattle...I think the home team will take the win for a repeat.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Geeez, how to lose a game brought to you by the Packers. Five and a half minutes to go, they get an interception and the clod falls down with it? Then the Packers basically take a knee for three plays? Ridiculous.

Re: NFL Time!!!
For me, one of the most difficult superbowls to predict. Would love to see the Seahawks retain their crown, for the NFC at least, but just have this feeling the Pats are going to win it.

It really depends on whether or not the balls are inflated apparently,...of course we already know, TB is full of hot air! I think Seattle win for the repeat!marko69 wrote:For me, one of the most difficult superbowls to predict. Last Super Bowl I took an interest in was two years back when The Baltimore Ravens took the prize. After that things went badly but at a younger age rooted for the Minnesota Vikings. They never actually won the main event but participated in the final game quite regularly for a time.

Re: NFL Time!!!
The Seattle coordinator just cost them all rings. A crazy catch to get them a spot followed by a crazy call to throw it all away.
You just don't do that play when you have Marshawn Lynch

Fk the Pats & the AFC.
Brady though? 4th bowl ring. That's impressive.
Can't comment on game, was in bed asleep before KO.

Hey Ohio, is it too soon to start talking about potential candidates for the 2016 SuperBowl?

Haha, well that's a worthy prediction! I'm not sure what my Cowboys will do yet, although that offensive line is looking awesome. I'm just not a Roma believer, but we'll see.Ohiotractorboy wrote:Never too early, I usually like to wati and look at the odds after training camps.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Pats at 8.5 to 1...a safe bet except Brady is still suspended for 4 games. I don't know..
The Boys at 18 to 1, I think they will make the playoffs and then it is up in the air. Seattle and Green Bay are there big stumbling blocks.
My beloved Browns will be lucky to win 6 games this year
Ohio State...now that is a different story

Re: NFL Time!!!
I have looked at the Lions schedule, and I see a 7-9 season. Tough opener away @ San Diego but they seem to be favoured. I can't see it all......, opening day defeat. Hope I'm wrong.
I don't think there will be any big surprises as to where the "Vincent Lombardi" will be going this season....... It'll definitely go to any one of the top 5 in that betting table.

Cowboys have lost their starting corner-back (Scandrick) for the season. I wonder how that will affect the over and under?
